A nice little store that offers lots of flavours of delicious fried breaded wings. There are many flavours to choose from either you like sour, or spicy wings. I tried Malvern Boy- it is okay for my liking, a bit too sour instead of spicy. I will go back and try another flavour that's more spicy. The chilli onion fries is really good- I would say it's a must order. It's a plate of fries topped with what taste to be similar to the dill pickle sauce at St. Louis, with diced pepper and onions. They constantly have daily specials, which is also good because you can save a bit when ordering wings on certain days. Finally, a Wow Wings location a bit closer to home! Came here the other night to get a pound of wings and chilli onion fries. The staff were pretty friendly and the service was pretty fast. However, I do recommend that you call in ahead of time and order, in that case you won't have to wait. The wings and chilli onion fries were amazing!! Never a let down. One thing I do suggest would be to double check the bill, because they do have daily specials. Definitely recommend this place for take-out, especially for the wings and chilli onion fries. If you are craving for some wings in or near Malvern, you would probably end up at Tapps or alternatively give The Wing Spot a try. Given it's obscure location (on the back side of Malvern Town Centre), you probably wouldn't be aware that this wings take out place had ever existed. If you are aware of its existence it could only mean two things - you either live or work in the Malvern area. Although the quality of their wings is on par with the more decently operated All star or St. Louis Wings, it's not a joint that you would go out of the way to try it. It really isn't anything special. While the food was decent, the all around experience I had there was an uneven one. Upon arrival I was greeted by a gentleman at the cash who was pleasant. He immediately handed over a take out menu that essentially listed the 100 or more flavours they have to offer. For such a small joint, to have that many flavors is quite impressive. As with most wings places there are flavours that are quite easy to figure out. Everyone probably knows what buffalo or Cajun would taste like. There's flavours like gar par where if you give it some thought you can probably figured it out. But there are also flavours that I saw on their menu like Tai Domi which you wouldn't be able to figure out. Being a Leafs fan myself, I was dying to find out what this flavour is all about and naturally posed the question to the gentleman. The gentleman hemmed and hawed and didn't really know what the flavour is. He then guessed that it probably has to do with some Thai flavour, but I told him that Tai on the menu was spelt without an H nor was it spelt the way of the former Leaf enforcer's first name. He then promptly pulled out a binder with all the flavours listed and with an explanation of it. But the description column of the flavour wrote in black letters again Tai Domi, which didn't really do much for me. For a safer option I opted for a pound of 40 Creek BBQ wings. After about 10 minutes the wings came as I decided to sit at one of the few bar stools to eat them on the spot. The first thing I spotted when the wings arrived was not how decently big the wings were but the disproportioned ratio between drumsticks and wingettes. I got 7 drumsticks and 2 wingettes. If you do any grocery shopping on a regular basis, then you will know that the wingettes are two times more expensive than the drumsticks. I honestly hope that it was a lack of consistency in proportioning the ingredients and not a way to cut cost. And finally onto the wings. The shell of the wings were crunchy, and saucy. The 40 Creek bbq sauce had a decent amount of vinegar flavour to it. The wing itself was not over cooked. Like I said before, similar to the better operated chain locations. Good but not the best I've had. I've opted for a final score of three star but I could have easily given them a score in the high twos due to the aforementioned inconsistencies. read more

The place is just okay. It seems that they don't make fresh wings in store. They have frozen wings which usually get fried in store and tossed in some sauce. The guy who took our order seemed lost. This place is amazing. Tiny storefront with lovely service. Ridiculous variety of wing flavours, and I can't wait to try them! So far, I've tried their Town of Jaffna and Malvern Boys (love the local names, by the way), which are spicy and delicious. The Chili Onion Fries are also to die for. Our absolute favourite is the Devils Ranch. If you've ever had Devils chicken before, picture that level of spice but doused with lots of Ranch dressing. The combination of both is deadly and the reason we keep coming back for more. Jaffna's Town is another good one. But fair warning, it is incredibly spicy. I've Asked them for fresh wings it took 6 men in the kitchen to look at the wings in there kitchen touching up the food. Which I felt disgusted this is not a science experiment.
