I had an inkling the problem was maybe electrical, and decided a second opinion on the furnace was a good idea since the system was not THAT old and I needed to address the GFCI circuit anyways. So I went on Yelp and found Cal Paso. Alex was my tech. And he did an ace job! He troubleshooted the GFCI problem and came up with a great solution for our hundred year old home where *nothing* is standard size or ever easy. His solution worked and even made the property *better* for the tenants by giving them more outlets than before. Then he went to the attic and solved the furnace issue. And technically there were two minor wiring issues involved, and if you've ever troubleshooted anything, it can be hard to figure out what's wrong when there's more than one problem! But Alex did. I will absolutely, 110%, use Cal Paso again. They saved me from an HVAC company who couldn't troubleshoot at all and was going to gouge me with a new system. And they made everything BETTER than I expected, at a fair and reasonable rate.

My family built a large home a few years ago as owner-builder and James took a tremendous amount of time working with me, helping me plan out every square inch of the house and try to anticipate my every electrical need. A couple of examples: 1. He walked thru every room of the house to determine the amount of sunlight that would come in and would design extra light where needed. Our electrical bills are low and there isnt a dark room in the house. 2. One of his staff, David, suggested I install a whole house vacuum system before I drywall. It was a great idea! The cost was so cheap and it added additional value to my home. 3. James asked if I was going to install solar electric now or in the future. I said I wasn't sure. He recommended we increase the size of the sub panel at my water well from 60 amp to 100 amp. I agreed and I am so glad I did because I am now installing solar! Way to think ahead James!
