I've been familiar with this area for 40 years, and I'm surprised that I've never been to this locally owned business. (There is an affordable hair salon in this strip center, btw.) I called around needing a document notarized, and most places no longer offered that service or I needed to coordinate a time around their schedule. Thankfully, The Wrap & Mail Room offers notary at any time (no appointment necessary) and for $6 cash or card. I dropped in and also picked up a cute mother's day card, as they have a cute selection of cards made by a local artist (err, Austin... but it's Texas). I went into Wrap and Mail Room for the first time, not really knowing what to expect. I took my own tape, scissors and marker. They had EVERYTHING that I needed and they even have an area where you can wrap a gift in gift wrap. My item was not breakable and being returned to a business so instead of getting the cute colorful padded mailing envelope I was thinking about, Jake asked if he could make a suggestion. He brought out a tear proof, waterproof envelope. It was large but could be folded down to the size for my item. It was perfect. Jake was super friendly and helpful. This place saved my butt today. I got a surprise airline ticket to visit my grandkids and I needed to get their birthday presents to them. The airline charges $60 each way. This is my go to package store. People are so nice. Also my Amazon returns always go out quickly. I usually get my refund within a few hours, which is based on the bar code scan. Other package shops often take several days. These postage stores have to pay for UPS or FedEx to pick up. I think other stores try to be cheap and only request pick up every few days. This little neigbhorhood mail-it-shop has the best customer service! Plus you can rent a PO box with a physical address, which means there is someone always there to sign for your packages. The staff is always helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Here's an example. Recently I sent a return via UPS but didn't keep a copy of the tracking number. The receipient (Costume Discounters) claimed they'd never received the return and UPS wouldn't help without a tracking number. Tamara at Wrap-n-Mail went through 3 days of UPS shipment to track down my tracking number for me. Only after I produced the tracking number did Costume Discounters suddenly realize that they did in fact have the return. So Tamara at Wrap n Mail saved me untold hassles and $119 to boot! read more

Customer service is wonderful. I have a mailbox and I'm always working or in class, and it's difficult sometimes to get there before they close because I'm stuck in evening traffic. They understand my situation and try to accommodate, especially if it's a RN textbook I needed for class. It's a great small business, and if your trying to send things off they'll pull up prices and services so you can choose how you want your things shipped.
