DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS BEWARE…read more I was moved in northwest Houston on 9/20/25 by Tom's location. Here is what happened: 1. Damaged furniture and property in several places 2. They showed up at 9:45 for an 8am move time 3. They charged me for 5.25 hours when this has never taken any other company more than 2.5 hours, I am a single person in a 950 sq ft place 4. One of my movers WALKED OFF in the middle of the job 5. The movers DIDNT EVEN MOVE ALL OF MY THINGS. Please see the time stamps on my photos as proof. 6. My bed was not re-assembled 7. The movers trashed my apartment and left empty bottles everywhere after I made sure to offer them water and anything else they needed 8. Movers were smoking weed on site 9. How could I forget the SWEAT STAINS on my upholstered couch because they failed to wrap it. See photos please pay attention to the stream of negative reviews all saying the same thing. Unfortunately corporate brand is being tarnished by a terrible franchise owner with a pattern of fraud as you can see in these comments. Tom, the owner, is a scammer who will price gouge, lie about his charges, and not even apologize for a single misstep. What a shame.

Between our move date in February and now, I've reached out weekly with very minimal response. I finally had someone make contact with me about a month ago to say that my concerns were being passed along to the "claims department" and I've never received any follow up. So beware this company for anything that does not go according to plan, because I suspect you will not get any follow up from anyone.

The team had a positive attitude and greeted me with a handshake and a friendly smile first thing this morning. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my home, furniture, and belongings with respect. Not to mention, I asked if they would drop of my mattress at my new place down the street from my storage unit (an added extra stop) and they said they would! After the final stop, they closed me out and everything was done in 2 HOURS!! I was shocked. I do not recommend Graceful Movers…read more This was by far the longest and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. I came fully prepared. Everything was already packed and most items were disassembled, with the exception of one bed and an entertainment center. All belongings were staged in one easily accessible area, ready to be loaded. My new home is only 11 minutes away, yet it took a team of three movers over 5 hours, nearly 6, to complete the move. To put that into perspective, I've used movers before with fewer people and a much longer drive of about 45 minutes, and they still completed the entire move in under 3 hours. There was nothing efficient or "graceful" about this experience. The excessive amount of time it took is completely unacceptable, especially given how prepared everything was. To make matters worse, I still have to reassemble my furniture myself. At the pace they were moving, I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if they had done it. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and would not use or recommend this company.
