After reading the glowing reviews on services at World Passport Photo, I decided to come here. I went on 5/14/21, Friday, around 12:00pm. Walk-in service available. There was no other customer ahead of me and I was quickly greeted by a lady who I assume is the owner. The whole process was relatively quick, however I was kind of taken aback on the updated prices. It is now $20 for two fingerprinting card instead of $10, whereas HPD off Washington Ave. is $10 according to their website. I kindly asked if it was possible for me to only get one card since that's all I needed. The lady agreed and I paid $11 cash. It took me less than 10 mins from checking in. I'm giving 4 stars based on my interaction. She wasn't the friendliest or easiest person to engage in a conversation with and was mildly aggressive when doing my fingerprints. Other than that, service was quick & location was convenient so I do recommend if you don't want to wait in line. One of those places where there isn't much to talk about. If you need a passport photo go there, get in, get out and get your passport taken care of. When you walk into the door go upstairs and into the door at the end of the hall on the right. The lady that works there is very nice. If you have a special need for your photo, like it has to be a different size than a US one, just give her an example and she will do her best to accommodate your needs. Prices are reasonable. I have been to other places who were more expensive because they were more convenient but ended up coming back here to get it done correctly. read more

I walked upstairs and there is an office with the nicest lady ready to take you into the photo room and snap a Polaroid :). My photos came out great. After navigating the small parking lot, you will enter a door facing the main road. Navigate up the staircase and turn to the right. I've had passport photos, fingerprints, and notary done here on the second floor of this hole-in-the-wall building with a dry cleaner downstairs. All the technology is pretty old school (film camera and ink fingerprinting) but it's really fast and accurate service. I actually had digital fingerprints done first somewhere else and they were rejected. However, the fingerprints I got here were accepted. Note that it's cash and check only. read more

The lady that works there is the most rude person I've met so far in Houston. The photos had a really bad quality(the cut was uneven, I was not in the center of the photo) and there were not accepted. When I went back to tell her so, she was really rude implying that I was lying.
