My mommy and me experience was absolutely amazing! Jasmine lead our sessions and she is such a welcoming, loving, and knowledgeable person. She would teach us all the fun mommy and me songs and each week would go over a specific topic. I loved how reassuring she was and would provide us evidence-based recommendations along with her own experiences as a mom. I absolutely enjoyed going to our sessions every Friday and was sad when I had to go back to work. My group still have our text groups and keep each other updated and have occasionally gotten together. Overall, I highly recommend The Wright Mommy and Me classes especially for new moms. It really helped me navigate through the rollercoaster of postpartum and will forever cherish the memories and support. read more

I have nothing but glowing praise for Wright Mommy & Me and our instructor, Julia Kantor. Mommy & Me was the truly the anchor of our week and I looked forward to the standing appointment with wonderful families in the same shoes as us. Julia is so poised and sage, but also so warm and fun loving. I learned so much from her and by just observing her. She has a beautiful way with words and tenderness with all she does. I have cute photos of my baby hanging on her every word too. We adapted as they grew (toddlers go crazy when snacks are aplenty, we found) and found things that worked for us. I love a collaborative environment. The topics evolve as you go as well, but Julia is consistent with the scaffolding of the advice. Our group was so wonderful and it was a joy to watch them grow up together. So many milestones shared. So many smiles. All their first birthdays were celebrated together. Wright Mommy and Me has been such a blessing to me and my family, I joined Jasmines Monday 11:15-12:45 class when my daughter was 6 months old and she's about to turn a year and we have both had the best time. Jasmine is such a kind and caring person and she's always willing to send you resources on a topic or just be a listening ear to a new mom. The class feels like a safe space to be honest about the trials of motherhood and navigating the new role. Our class was at max only about 9 moms so it was very intimate and I was able to create some really sweet friendships. There's plenty of toys for the babies and songs that my daughter absolutely loves. Their COVID precautions are also fantastic for keeping all the babies healthy. My husband and I started this class with our son when he was 2 months old--and continued coming back for over a year until we "graduated." As first time parents the welcoming, calm and instructive support was exactly what we were seeking in a group. Jasmine, our teacher, is so savvy and runs things like a total pro. Great class, even on Zoom! Our teacher, Synthia Praglin, is personable, knowledgable, insightful, funny, and very passionate not only about child development but also about the parents' well-being. She is thorough and is always open to questions, encouraging conversations to flow naturally, shares her own anecdotes, and keeps things light when necessary and more serious when it calls for it. My husband and I started the class in-person when our baby was about 4 months old and moved to online due to the pandemic. Now with our 7 month old, although it's obviously not the same, we are still learning so much from Synthia and gaining the benefits of a community, getting to know other parents and their journeys, and seeing the babies grow and develop. Especially during this time of isolation, we look forward to our Sunday class and to Synthia's warm energy, caring and positive attitude and vivaciousness. Keeps us sane and in-the-know! Cannot recommend these classes highly enough! We started when my daughter was 2.5 months and just concluded after the whole group turned one. Wright offers groups on weekends which I needed as a working mom. Plus there are classes which welcome both parents, not just mommys. My husband and I were certainly on the fence about whether to do a course like this, but it was the best decision to join. Adjusting to parenthood was tough and this group made it much, much easier. Jasmine is incredible. She has such a kindness in guiding parents and we are so grateful for all her help. This class was an extremely special part of my first year of motherhood. It was everything I could have wanted from a mommy and me class. I'm so grateful for the connection with the other moms. We've built a really wonderful bond, and I know it will continue for years to come. I never would have imagined that the world would have turned upside down within only a year of my child's birth and that Wright Mommy would be the reason I didn't lose my mind completely while we were/are under a #stayathome order from a pandemic, along with worldwide protests against racial injustice, citywide curfews, plus looting a few blocks away. When I was pregnant, a friend clued me into Wright Mommy and Me as a great way to build community and learn all about my baby's development. The classes definitely served that purpose and continued to be a lifeline as everything moved to Zoom. I was concerned at first that zoom would make it difficult to focus, but then classes were made so that we had a singing/play portion for the children in the morning and then an evening portion for moms. My child loved the music portion and recognizes Julia with a smile. She even started to recognize and wave to the other children. The evening segment was therapeutic, plus educational! I feel the group grew even closer through the zoom meetings. Julia Kantor has given so much invaluable guidance, info, and support to me and the other moms. Like a fairy godmother, she's helped me enjoy so wholeheartedly the experience of being a new mom. She helps filter out the multitude of well-meaning voices in your life giving advice about every possible thing. It has also been so critical to have her expertise on "baby-proofing" your marriage so that our relationship with our partners can also be fulfilling. I can't say enough good things. I really enjoyed this place and am really sad my daughter is grown out of here! My daughter and I started here when she was about 4 months old and we continued for all the sessions (about a year). We were in a group with a lot of the same moms from the original session. This is a lifesaver, Lindsay was so helpful, kind, really knowledgeable and always available to answer questions that all first time moms have. It was also fun bonding with other new moms the same age as my daughter. Each week we talked about new topics and it was fun to see the kids grow into full toddlers! The Wright Mommy and Me class was the perfect class to help ease me into new motherhood - during a pandemic no less. We met virtually but still built a strong community with the other moms and with our instructor Julia. Classes were a great mix of songs and play with babies, sharing wins and challenges between moms, and learning so many important things about raising babies, transitioning into toddlerhood, and taking care of ourselves and our relationships as well. I moved here recently to settle down with my husband and we had a baby girl. It's challenging to be first time parents and it's even more challenging to start from a totally new place. I don't have much support from friends or families because it's a new place for me, so I felt lonely and isolated. When my baby was 4 months I started to search for classes like Mommy and Me, and I am so glad I found this Mommy and Me Group. It lights my life here! This a group class focused more on helping moms and guiding moms to raise their baby through the first year. Topics include balancing your life with baby, teething, solid food, sleep training, language development, preschool selection... etc. The class is super helpful and the instructors are very caring and supportive. It made me feel relaxed and more confident. More important is you get the chance to meet other moms and you know you are not alone! I do believe those friendships will last for a life time! BTW, my class is in Sherman Oaks location, and instructor Julia Kantor is awesome!! There are some highlights for the class: 1) the scale and size of the class. Usually it around 7-15 pairs of mom and baby, which means the class is still very active but you won't feel too crowded. 2) the baby's age difference is a maximum of 2-3 months, which keeps all the moms focused on the same topics. 3)This group is focused more on what mom's needs are rather than having all the attention on the babies while they play - which is different from every other class. I attended Wright Mommy and Me with my son Tyler from Summer 2019- June 2020. Both during our in person classes and when we went digital on zoom (due to stay at home orders surrounding the corona virus), Wright Mommy and Me has been such a blessing. We were not meant to raise our babies alone and Wright Mommy and Me had provided that village for me and Tyler. These mamas (and our fearless leader Julia) have been there for me every step of the way. I am extra grateful that Zoom was there for us to help us stay connected during the super isolation of quarantine. Julia did a great job moving the platform online (with little notice!). Highly highly recommend this class! I started when my son was just six weeks old, and continued the class until he was nearly 14 months, and I owe almost everything I know about baby's first year to this class. I'm so grateful I took this class and stuck with it all the way through - I would have been completely lost. The first year is HARD, and the learning curve is insane, and this class was incredibly educational, and Julia is so knowledgeable and supportive. The group of moms with whom I took the class were wonderful as well, and we continue to talk almost all day, every day. One of the biggest take aways of joining a mommy group for me was the perspective I recieved from being around so many moms and babies going through the early stages of mom-hood. This group showed me how different every family, baby and situation is and how to be supportive, caring and nurturing to yourself, your baby and others. It was such an eye opener and such a lifeline to be part of a group that had no judgement, and no mom-shaming. Only empathy, and support. The leader of our group, Rachel, fostered this non-judgemental environment and provided a wide breadth of experience (she's a mom of twins, plus a singleton), and the latest science-based knowledge and information for us to absorb (depending on sleep) and discuss. I learned so much in this group and the friendships created here are the basis for my mom village now. I can turn to these women for anything! Be it: breastmilk or formula, recommendations, hand-me-downs, time at the park or a moms night out. These women are my rocks. Like a previous reviewer noted, I never thought I was the mommy and me type, but Lindsay Anderson's group was just right for me. She incorporates a lot of education into the class on parenting styles and perspectives on raising children that I would have never been exposed to otherwise. After each session, I left feeling empowered and capable. Not to mention, I met some wonderful moms. I really believe that her guidance and support enabled me to be a more patient and knowledgeable parent. Most of all, I think I am a more confident mom having learned from her, which is invaluable. I was lucky enough to share the first 6 months of my baby's life with Wright Mommy and Me. I learned so much - songs that we sing every day, and invaluable advice on topics ranging from napping to sleep coaching, protecting your marriage after baby, starting solid foods, developmentally appropriate playtime, and so much more! Julia, our instructor, manages to create a warm and welcoming space free of judgment where you can feel free to speak your mind from the beginning. She is great at redirecting the conversation gently when it has gotten too far afield, and she is open to feedback to tailor the class to the needs of each group of moms and babies. When my baby, Levi, was born I began looking for some sort of a mommy and me in my new area to make some new buddies for him. I had no idea what a great support system this would soon become for me. Lindsay covered all the bases for us-- from sleep talk, breastfeeding support, to just plain venting about our new overwhelming life of motherhood! She had such great suggestions and advise and we all were able to share with one another what worked for us and what didn't. She genuinely understands all the ups and downs of being a mom and how hard it can be. Levi and I highly recommend the Wright Mommy and Me! I've been coming to the mommy daddy and me classes for about 4 months. I love the teacher Jenifer, she so lovely and fun and bubbly and warm. But the only problem is that there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on coming in if your baby has a cold. Which is very annoying. My daughter has got a new cold from this class almost every other week. And I'm completely exhausted. I'm almost glad this year is over and there's no more classes. I've also been going to a mommy and me over at the pump station as well (for about 1 year) and there's a strict policy and general respect when it comes to bringing your child in while sick. No one does it. I think The Wright Mommy and Me could benefit from that policy. Otherwise I've loved it here. read more

I loved the baby class through Wright Mommy and Me. It welcomed all parents, not just mommies. We started the class pre-covid, and met with everyone in the Sanata Monica space. It was so fun to see all the babies. After Covid, we began meeting via Zoom. Although I missed seeing the other parents and watching the babies interact, I am really liked the Zoom format. In a way, I preferred it because it was so much less stress to not have to leave the house! If baby was sleeping, I could call in and not miss anything, versus either waking him up early to go to class, or waiting for him to wake up but missing the beginning of class. I have learned SO much from the class leader Jane. She is really experienced and educated on all baby/toddler topics and provide great pragmatic guidance. She definitely leads the discussion and provides most of the content, so if you prefer a class that you can mostly just listen and ask questions when they come up (like me!), this would be a good class for you. We always at least went around the group and each gave a weekly check in but then you can mainly listen if you prefer. I liked this format because it was less stress for me. I always shared what I learned with my husband, and it provoked great discussions about how we wanted to best raise our child. I recommend taking this class with Jane specifically. read more
