After being disappointed by the selection at Academy and Dick's, we were hesitant to check this place out after finding it on Google. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Shoes, clothing, racquets, bags, stringing services, and a ton of other accessories - they've got it all! Racquet demo is great, no fees, can keep racquets for a decent amount of time (we chose 2 weeks). Stringing can be same day turn around if needed, which is fantastic. The staff is VERY knowledgeable and helpful. No pushy sales people here. They want you to find the best equipment and products to fit your needs. We were thoroughly impressed with this tennis shop and will be back quite often! Wish they carried Nike products, at least the clothing, but that's just me and my brand loyalty haha.

I looked at their website and saw that I could just pay as a drop in and play that way, instead of becoming a member. As a result, I drove to the facility and arrived around 8:30. It is a very nice, new, bright facility with nine indoor courts. However, when I arrived I was I informed that they were completely full until about 1 pm. The receptionist informed me that you really need to reserve a court online in order to get a spot. That was disappointing but I understand it was probably more busy than normal due to the weather and the holiday. It looks very nice. Maybe on another cool day I will try to book an online reservation before driving there. They also sell plenty of pickleball gear.

Oddly, lots of parks in Florida but very few with designated running areas. One thing to note is…read morethat pretty much every street has a sidewalk and a concrete running path here. I found this park by looking at Apple Maps and then zooming in to see if there was an asphalt trail. I arrived really early to run here and noticed the lights kicked on around 6AM. There is a tennis court (which is where I parked), baseball fields, football field and soccer field. The water was not turned near the bathrooms, and the bathrooms were locked. Not sure if they open up at a certain time but that's the reason for my star bump. I was happy to run the asphalt path they had. If you account for the boardwalk area on the lake, you'll get about .90 miles altogether. I did my warmup on the path and ran some outside the park on the concrete. Was able to complete some short interval training by just doing about 2.5 laps on the asphalt. It was fairly flat but you're only going to get about .4 miles of a curved running area before a transition. If you're a runner, I'd recommend coming here for any runs under 5 miles. Also, people are oblivious on the asphalt and don't stay on their side. But, be glad they have asphalt to run on!

Oh well, they'll have energy drinks, hah. After leaving a bunch of balls in the water we headed back in the clubhouse for late lunch and drinks. I was doing dry January so it was Gatorade followed by shots of pickle juice for me. I just learned that the land here was once a settlement of Mocama people. After them Don Juan McQueen had a slave plantation here. When you are on the course along the marsh, it is cool to think of how historical this land is and the people who once lived here thousands of years ago.

There is a gym with tennis courts, a pool, and a soccer field near the front of the community. There is practically anything you could ever need in the gym and I think it is a great recreational facility. There is also a clubhouse that has its own pool. The clubhouse is great for private events since it has a wonderful view of the golf-course. I've personally attended several college and graduation events here and was always impressed. The golf course is lovely and lush. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery. One of my favorite holes looks out over the inter coastal. Overall a lovely place to live and hangout!

They had a well constructed community center though closed now, , I guess you can read it?!I They had basketball courts, lots of pickleball courts (all being used), swings/monkey bars, etc, big multi-purpose field which our pack of 8 year old boys and girls were playing kick ball in and loving it. There is green space too where we had sack races, tug of war....you reserve (or rent) a pavilion where we had our food, drinks, cake etc. Like I said it's a very nice park and well used. One thing was the restrooms, they could be updated.
