I have mixed emotions writing this review because I love the clubs atmosphere aside from management. Eddie, the GM, is the most unprofessional manager I have ever seen! To start, he gets belligerently drunk every single night he is working and takes that out on not only his customers, but his employees as well. I've seen it and experienced it. He is very disrespectful and has no type of self awareness whatsoever. One night I seen him so wasted that he couldn't even stand up to do his job, he was sitting behind the VIP curtains pretty much passed out with his eyes closed while a dancer took out time from her night to feed him water and rub his back until he was coherent again... unbelievable. He uses foul language towards people and has a "because I said so" type of attitude when it comes to his authority. There's never a solid explanation nor reason behind any official decision that he makes. He stereotypes his customers based off race and hearsay, never facts, which makes a lot of customers and potential customers skeptical to even come in the building because they have to risk being racially profiled... This is just a small list of things wrong with Eddie being the general manager, the list goes on and on... he is not qualified nor deserving enough of the GM position at YR by any means and someone needs to hold him accountable. This is a very serious every day problem that needs to be addressed by corporate. I don't know how else to bring awareness to this problem other than posting this review, so hopefully this gets the attention of the right people/person so action can be taken. There are many other people going unnoticed who are overly qualified and far more deserving of his position. At this point I'm sure anyone would be able to enforce the proper rules and etiquette of the club 1000% better than he can WITHOUT taking advantage... Anyways other than that, this club is a great place! Wife and I came here on Saturday night (10/14/23) with 2 other couples. We were visiting from out of town for a wedding. So, there are beautiful/talented ladies here some of which work their a$$ off and deserve every dollar given to them. Unfortunately with that being said I wouldn't recommend this establishment due to the issue we experienced... we arrived about 1am and knew they closed at 4pm. As soon as we were seated we ordered drinks. Soon after that they announced last call would be at 2am so we decided to ordered 1 bucket of beer and 2 buckets of seltzers to have to drink after last call. These buckets didn't arrive until about 1:45am. It wasn't until about 2am when a fellow customer came up and told me that security personnel will come by at 2:15 to pick up any and all alcohol! (Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is a lame Texas law) So instead of giving all the alcohol back to the establishment I gave as much of it out to others as possible but surprisingly a lot of ppl refused... so sure enough when the time came, there was an announcement stating that security would be coming around to pick up all alcohol. So any unopened cans of seltzers they would keep for resale but for some reason they opened up all the beers for us but not the seltzers. Not sure what that's about but I was super duper annoyed of the situation. I had also asked the server to provide me with itemized receipt but I never saw her again after she dropped off the buckets. I just don't understand why this wasn't mentioned to us before we ordered that amount of alcohol. Yellow Rose is hands down one of the best clubs around.  The lunch is top notch with one of the best management and day shift crew.  Be sure to ask for Big Daddy Kenny! The Club is a comfortable size! 2 stages, several TVs and they make the best drinks! It's basically a big sports bar during major sports season and a great place to hangout with your friends. Check before you go. Some nights they have specials and deals based on what sporting events are playing. The owners, night staff, day staff and bartenders are the best in town. As far as the times I been, Eddie is always taking shots and getting belligerently drunk seems like the establishment has gone down. I understand that we came on a Sunday and it was more than likely going to be dead but they didn't even have anyone dancing on the main stage like the whole time. Then the waitress who I can only assume is named "Binx V." (Name that was on the receipts) had a really bad attitude. She kept pressuring us to buy a drink. Saying that there was a two drink minimum. My friends couldn't make up their minds and half the time we couldn't navigate the online menu. This is a review primarily on the Friday Buffet, especially since I've always wondered about it but have noticed a lack of reviews about it. First, there is a one drink minimum, which isn't really a problem, just an FYI. Second, there is no prime rib, which their website advertised. Was really looking forward to Prime Rib. The interior is about what you expect, but it was clean. The buffet was fairly well maintained, with salad and dressings in a large ice box, and 4 different hot items. The salad was good, fairly fresh. Fried chicken tenders and fried mozzarella was yummy, nothing outstanding, but decent. Had some steak medallions that were decent (a little tough), and some fried fish that were also yummy with plenty of tartar sauce. They also had baked chicken that was really nice and tender. Never felt hustled for a dance, and the waitress was really nice and ensured we had everything we needed. They said things like: "Who would want to go just for lunch?" and "We're all gonna get food poisoning or yeast infections from our food..." Well get this... by the time they left, they actually said they loved the food. For $6.99 you get all you can eat steak and shrimp, which 2 of our party got, and LOVED. At the end of the day, they all said that they were shocked at how good it was. I ordered the blackened tilapia salad with dressing on the side to be extra fru-fru-y. I thought it was an incredible dish since I had 0 expectations for it... and the price was only $7.99. Couple the cheap, decent food with what are essentially brunch specials on drinks $3 mimosas, bloody maries and screw drivers until 3PM and you've got yourself probably the best deal for decent food on lunch anywhere in town. That alone is awesome, The problem is that at the end of the day, it's a strip club. You're gonna get hustled for table dances and have to eat in night club music/lighting. I had a dancer ask me to come sit with her while right after I was eating... to which I immediately shot down. I was still relishing in my correct choice for a lunch time meal. My 4 stars is for the food and the service, because I was able to drift off into my own little world and eat. Our server Linsey (probably not her real name) who also happened to be the most attractive/clothed woman there, was also super awesome and attentive to our table. If I took in to account the rest of everything else going on... I'd probably drop it another star and a half. I just don't want to be hustled during my super cheap, really good lunch. Now in my 50s once a year or so I go in there to not feel old, under the illusion a strip drug can create for a few yours. In the past you knew what you were getting, $20 table dances and expensive drinks and that was OK. Now when you go in there you are constantly badgered to pay $600 for a private room and if you refused your are berated by the girls and the girls aren't at all happy if what you want is the $20 table dances and expensive drinks. It was time for me to quit going to strip clubs anyway and just realize I have gotten old and deal with it. lol But for all the tourists that read these reviews that come to town, I wanted you to know what to expect. read more
