Friend's first time at a club and he was very drunk. The hosts spared no time taking advantage of him. Ushering him to a VIP room and just asking for a credit card. They ended up charging him over $7k for the time spent (only dances, nothing else). When we emailed the next day to try to resolve the completely fake charge, we were met with a harsh response from the disgusting pig manager, saying these were real chargers, and there would be no refund given. On January 21st, 2025, my lonely, elderly father ventured out from his home in Lockhart in search of female company and a respite from his loneliness. Upon entering Red Rose Cabaret, he was quickly approached and purchased 2 dances. He was then ushered into a private cabana room where the charges escalated quickly to over $4400. But that's not all. The following day he discovered there was a second round of charges that totalled an astounding $18,000. My 78 year old father is so deaf that you have to speak into a tiny microphone that he carries around with him in order to have a conversation. He had no idea what was happening or what he was consenting to. Is this how the "upscale" establishment of Red Rose Cabaret handles a vulnerable demographic? Disgusting. Went with my fiance this past weekend, she had never been to a club like this ever and I hadn't in like 20+ years, so we were a bit anxious of the whole situation. I really can't speak highly enough of our experience. Yes the drinks are expensive but we had an absolutely great time. Everyone was extremely nice and professional, at no point did we feel intimidated or like we were being pushed into anything. Unless you have an unlimited budget I would not do bottle service, but we lucked out and accidentally got one of the empty booth tables, we were told it was usually reserved for VIP type services, but the manager said we're fine and told us to let anyone know we were allowed to stay there if asked, which we were not. The dancers were great, we had several who just chilled with us talking for a good half hour or more. So, yes it's potentially expensive, figure like $10 per normal drink like a beer, wine, or a small mixed drink on average, we had cash on hand and planned for it, but I have nothing even remotely negative to say whatsoever about this place. We were apprehensive to do something like this, we really didn't know what we were going into, but are both excited to do it again. I can't believe I had to write a strip club review, however, this place deserves it. It was my friend's bachelor party weekend and we were very excited to visit Austin, TX. As a part of our weekend, we planned a great night at the Red Rose. The reason we chose Red Rose is due to the close location to our air b&b and reviews here. However, it was the worst bachelor party and Red Rose ruined it for all of us. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS A CRACK AND WHORE HOUSE. Let me start from the beginning. The club itself seemed so small, outdated, and smelled like a rat house, bottle service was not what we expected after purchasing 3 overpriced bottles, and tipping 30%, and our waitress was nowhere to be found after the first round. The club has ladies for every taste, it was very entertaining at first before the waitress and a dancer tag team attacked us by forcefully offering coke and all-inclusive services in the VIP. We respectfully declined the offer but got bombarded by coke offerings at the bathroom by the bathroom attended as well. Seems like 70's are back at Red Rose. Not to mention their VIP prices, where the manager girls expect min 20% tip on top of the already overpriced VIP room or should I say couch with curtain. We have been all over the country and have never seen this sort of VIP room. The audacity of the owners charging patrons $275 for an hour for a curtained smelly couch is crazy to me. We paid nearly 2K for an hour for the bachelor here. Since we were out of towners our CC was declined on our first try and the manager girl was rude because we refused to tip her 20% for punching buttons. We put a custom tip of 100$ for her time but she had an attitude. Our bachelor had a great time with almost full service and his dancer kept doing and offering him a coke the entire time he was there. Seems like they all operate on drugs. Lastly, the crowd was suspicious and the DJ kept saying no smoking in the building, which I found very entertaining. Overall experience was traumatizing for non-drug users. I went in with my sister she was in town for a conference and I was there as support and decided to have some fun so we pulled up here, when we walked in the lady at the front made it seem like we were there for other things saying we can't talk to any of the men specifically saying we can't solicit drinks from them because we weren't meeting up with any guys already there like what? If they want to talk to us and buy us a drink I don't think that should be an issue especially if we're paying to get in, buying our own drinks and supporting the girls on stage with ones. Just felt iffy I would understand if it was just one girl because that's kinda weird but that kinda turned us off the girls were doing a bachelor party bit on stage so I got 100 ones threw them on a girl with blue hair and a dragon back tattoo (amazing pole work if you get the chance to see her) then left because I felt like we couldn't really enjoy how we wanted fully without getting attention from men who may want to talk to us or join our table because a few already started talking to us as we were sitting down. Like we're pretty woman of course men are going to want to talk to us and buy us drinks it's not like we're dancing taking the girls money. If anything I would make then throw more or give me some to throw on the girls. Definitely an upgrade since taking the space over from Exposé. The drinks are reasonable, the furniture seems newer and of decent quality, and the new sound systems sounds sooooo much better. I like that they employ what some would consider "alternative" looking dancers (I.e tattooed) and have a fairly diverse mix of style, ethnicity, and body type. Management and security do a solid job of keeping the place feel safer while still allowing it to have a somewhat relaxed/casual vibe. Only downside is that it's kinda small and if you get there after 10ish on a weekend, good luck getting a table. read more
