The DDPYoga program is designed to meet the needs of all age, fitness, and experience levels within the same workout. That may sound like a ridiculous claim, but modifications are woven into the fabric of each course. This has been documented in several reviews of DDPY by both mainstream and fitness-oriented publications. On off days I have used the workouts on DVD and the DDPYogaNow app, and while those are very good on their own, Jim's instruction adds elements that further enhance the quality of the program. His clients have ranged in age from 10 to 86. At 54 I have not been in better condition since competing in college athletics and teaching aerobics classes in the 1980s. If anyone is questioning my knowledge on this subject, please note that I have an extensive background in adult fitness including industrial rehab, cardiac rehab, and corporate fitness. I have a BS in physical education with a health minor, and an MA in education - curriculum and instruction. I wasn't expecting to like yoga this much. I've taken yoga classes before at various rec centers,…read morebut this is different. This is a real workout. I love the Strong-Basics classes. The instructors do a great job talking you through the poses, which is helpful if you don't know what you're doing. YogaStrong also offers beginner classes which help explain what's going on in the Strong classes so you can do the poses correctly. The Strong yoga is a great workout because it consists of a mix of planks, lunges, yoga poses, and stretching. The heated studio is amazing too! I love sweating off the calories and I look forward to going into the studio on cold days. What I like about YogaStrong is the huge variety which ensures that the classes are never boring. Not only are there a variety of classes offered (Strong, Strong-Basics, Yin, Slow Flow Meditation, Beginner, etc...), the classes themselves are varied due to different instructor styles. I've taken the Strong-Basics classes several times and each instructor runs it differently. The other great thing is the availability of classes. Classes start at 5:30 AM and run until 9:15 PM so you can always find SOMETHING. In the last three weeks of attending, I've lost a few pounds and gained strength and flexibility. This studio is a bit pricey, but they give discounts for veterans and students. I'm taking college classes, so that's nice. I bought the monthly-student-unlimited plan (you have to show a bill or course schedule as proof. They don't look at student ID cards). If I attend at least 6 times per month, it's worth it financially. I've been attending 4 to 5 times per week! So basically my classes are turning out to be around 4 bucks a class. If you buy the monthly plan, really take advantage of it to make it worth the money. This is a lifestyle change for me. Really. I wasn't expecting to love Yoga, but now that I'm doing it the RIGHT way and the REAL way, I'm in love. I'm excited about the future. I can't wait to see where my strength and flexibility will be at this time next year! I have rheumatoid arthritis, so to have discovered a way to feel strong and in more control of my body has been emotionally uplifting and empowering. I'm more positive about my disease and what the future holds for my body. I CAN DO THIS. Thank you Yoga Strong!!!

She is not welcoming at all and doesn't even show you around in regards to different modalities, etc. When asking her about some things she just blows you off. When calling you can't even hear what is being said on the machine. Did the float pod initially with my dtr. and a massage with Jimmie and Kolibri (who are BOTH absolutely FANTASTIC). They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the facility. Later learned that they were the ones who originally built Mystic Float. Too bad they sold it. I will still go there to see them both for massages, but will not use any of the other modalities there. Went twice to the salt cave and spoke to Julie about the halotherapy that appeared to not be working properly. Told me that she cleaned it, but it still was not putting out any mist. Waste of money and the music in the salt cave was way too loud. I will return to 'Inner Whispers' on Hills and Dales for the halotherapy (which is GREAT and you can actually feel the mist. And plus they have other modalities there and the energy throughout the place is INCREDIBLE). If they had a different person running Mystic Float their business might pick up, but unfortunately Julie does not have the right energy, temperament, or attitude for a wellness center. No one should have to walk thru the doors of this type of business and feel like they're an inconvenience or not welcome.

This is a self serve stand located inside a super cute barn space. It's on the honor system so you just pick out what you would like and write up a receipt for your total. Accepts cash and mobile payments. I bought some veggies, loose leaf tea, done frozen meats and some blueberry lavender jelly that is delicious!! The area is beautiful, and it was easy to find. My friends and I are in law school, and I thought that petting some baby goats would give us a…read moremuch-needed break from our studies. My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I'm a huge adventure junkie and....this goat yoga party was one of my favorite adventures to date....This farm is literally a utopia... Feels Like Home Farm is AMAZING for: a) Private Parties - Reasonably priced and SO MUCH FREAKING FUN! Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!
