Classes are taught to be simple enough for beginners to join but challenging enough for advanced athletes. As a result, every type of person walks through the doors here - age, gender, race, identity - and they're all welcomed in. It takes me 30 minutes one way to get here. On that drive, I think of how many studios I pass - many of which I've tried but none of which have stuck for me. I gladly do that drive up to 5 times a week because the community here is simply unmatched. Not only that, but I now have defined abs even when I'm bloated, post-vacay, haven't worked out in a week, etc. and that comes from the consistency, support and methodology that only Rhythm and Release has offered me in South Florida. Now quit reading and sign up for a class!

It's such an encouraging, women-centric environment with a tight-knit community where everyone cheers each other on. The spinning coaching of Gabriela is uplifting, and they do a fantastic job modifying movements so you're challenged but never overwhelmed. It feels like an empowering atmosphere, I have even made a few new friendships there. Highly recommend!"

Rypt Gym does have membership for students at $59.00 and seniors/military at $49.00. Pretty pricey for a small gym that offers no classes, amenities, or provides state-of-the-art equipment. The gym states it offers discounts for members at their nutrition bar but all it offers is a vending machine with overpriced items. Customer Service Don't expect a high level of service here. Besides the greeting at the entrance that's about all you get. There is only one employee per shift and their job is to only monitor the check-ins at the front. No employees are walking around the gym cleaning or organizing except for the morning shift where there is a cleaning lady. Personal Trainers This gym excels with personal training. This is their biggest pro. There is a variety of trainers who have been in the business for many years that can assist you with your fitness goals. This is not included in your membership, and depending on who your trainer is be prepared to spend extra cash. Vibes The aesthetics of the gym is mostly about the owner and former 2005 Ms. Olympia Yaxeni Oriquen. Old school gym with an older crowd. You'll find your average gym-goer is in their early to late 40s. Few young people do work out here but don't usually last. Very small gym with very limited spacing. Space Peak hours are in the morning and evenings hard to use anything at those times due to limited spacing on the floor everything is cramped. There is an outdoor area but is not being used properly. The area would be perfect for adding weights and workout materials to enhance the workout experience outdoors or remove the wall all together to make more room. There's a small room area on the second floor near the cardio machines that can be converted to free or paid monthly classes. Cardio Machines Two upper areas include the majority of the cardio machines. There you will find Lifestyle treadmills and Precor ellipticals. There are also two water rowers and two cycling bicycles if this is something that you are interested in. There are plenty of stair-master machines located in front of the restrooms. Unfortunately the majority of the cardio machines like treadmills and elliptical have an error in their programming that will not let you up the resistance or incline and these machines have had these issues for several years now with no fix. Body Building Machines and Free Weights The free weight area that includes all assortments of dumbbells is jammed packed in the middle of the gym where traffic doesn't care if your lifting 150lbs dumbbells on the bench they will walk over you just to grab the dumbbell right next to you. Dumbells aren't routinely cleaned or properly inspected for maintenance. Very frequently I have come across a dumbbell that is loose and needs to be tightened. There are two flat bench press, one incline, and one decline for chest days. For leg days there is only one squat rack. The squat rack doesn't look like it's made for heavy lifting. It wobbles to the touch. The rubber mat floors throughout the gym are in desperate need of replacement. The spacing of workout machines on the floor is very limited/cramped. Some machines are awkwardly placed in areas of high foot traffic that interrupt your workout flow. For example, all the cable machines are located at the entrance of the gym where traffic is constantly zig-zagging around you to get by. This machine also includes cable lat pulldowns and pull-up bars. You won't be able to enjoy your workout without someone bumping into you. Cleanliness Machines are regularly cleaned in the mornings with the exceptions of dumbbells and free weights. Many of the iron dumbells have begun to rust and it is noticeable when you pick them up. The gym is cleaned only in the mornings and the men's bathroom doesn't have a proper locking mechanism to use the toilet. It's a sliding lock with a nail and a piece of wood holding it together. There is 1 toilet, 2 urinals, and 2 showers in the men's restroom. Locks must be very expensive or management just doesn't care about men's privacy when you have to go number 2. The women's bathroom compared to the men's however is on a completely different level. Proper locks and hand soap. Overall What your paying in monthly membership doesn't justify what your getting in return. I would say this place is not for those serious about bodybuilding. If you're serious about getting your money's worth check out other neighbor gyms like Anatomy or Elev8tion.

I…read morethought I was going to sign up for a 24 hour fitness or LA fitness, but after my roommate brought me here for a one day trial, I knew I needed to sign up asap. It was a no bullshit gym where you go in, do your workout and get out. They had all the necessary equipment I needed (squat rack, bench, dumbbells etc.) It didn't get too crowded so I never had to wait too long for something to open up. Since I mostly went at night, Rose was the one working and she was super nice and friendly. Parking is provided and she even helped me with a parking issue. I recommend using the personal trainer session, as Claude put me through a short workout that had me in a puddle with the sickest leg pump.
