I went to get my surgery and the first nurses I saw were not overly friendly which I was a bit disappointed. I was the last surgery of the day so I really had a long wait after arriving at 11 am and not scheduled until 3:30. I was kind of just left on my own to wait. My spirits were lifted when I met the anesthesiologist, Darren. He was great! Made me feel warm and fuzzy! My surgery was at 3:30 and it took about an hour. I was already leaving the surgery center by 6:30. It was a lot easier than I expected. Dr. Johns did a very good job. Whenever I called the office I got quick responses. Unfortunately 45 minutes later, I still hadn't got called back for my consultation because apparently they were running about an hour behind. I sat in that waiting room for an hour before I had to leave to get home for my child. I was very disheartened as it took me a while to make that call to begin with, and I left there feeling like I didn't want them to work on me because my time was not valuable enough for them to tell me that they were running way behind.
