The NP was unable to demonstrate the needed medical skills/acumen to assess and evaluate whether I would be good fit for the medications they offer. Rather, I felt I was being offered a sales pitch during the exam of what they sell --rather than a medical exam that I paid for. The NP was hurried and did not adequately address the medical concerns I was there for. And while I don't think it was done with intent { I don't think the NP realized her actions} my perception was she was a tad condensing and felt I as if she was belittling me as the patient. Just lost $125 on this place. But, maybe this is what people want? Who knows?? Just hope you don't have the same bad experience I did.

I've previously had several different types of laser treatments, but this was by far the best experience and treatment. She is extremely knowledgeable and talks you through the entire process. The second floor is an open event space and available to rent. The space includes a kitchen area. All services can be scheduled and booked online, which is such a time saver! Well, Carmel Family Dentistry made sure my first experience was pleasant and they now have a new long-term patient! I really didn't know where to start with finding a new dentist. I asked a coworker for a recommendation in the area, and after calling that location, found that they would not be able to accept new patients for six months. Thankfully, they provided me with the information for Carmel Family Dentistry! I saw the great reviews for this practice and was sold. I called Carmel Family Dentistry and was able to get an appointment within the next 6 weeks. Scheduling was a breeze - I was provided several different options, received a reminder text a week prior, and confirmation text the week of the appointment. They also verified my insurance and ensured everything was good to go for my appointment day. When arriving, they had all of my paperwork ready and I was taken back for service as soon as I finished. My hygienist, Missy, was very friendly and explained everything along the way. Dr. Worthington came in for the final check and she was great as well. She sat down and went over all of my X-rays in detail, explaining what she saw and sharing her recommended next steps. I appreciate when dentists do not encourage unnecessary treatment - I've had this experience before and truly appreciated Dr. Worthington's transparency. Great overall visit!

I repeatedly contacted Dr. Sevara regarding my symptoms, but I was told that everything was normal and that I should simply take pain medication. Later, another dentist discovered multiple retained tooth fragments in the extraction site, as well as an infection and a completely failed bone graft that required additional treatment. I still have the actual tooth fragments that were removed after being left behind in my gum during the procedure. What is most disappointing is not only what happened, but the complete lack of response from the clinic. I have repeatedly contacted both Dr. Sevara and the clinic administration, providing X-rays, examination results, and detailed information about my case. My emails and requests have been ignored. Patients deserve honest answers, professional communication, and accountability when serious complications occur. Unfortunately, in my case, the clinic has chosen to ignore both the problem and my repeated attempts to resolve it. To this day, neither Dr. Sevara nor the clinic administration has provided any response to my complaint.
