Tyler came to help with a stopped up drain in my 85 year old farm house, that turned into a much…read morebigger job upon realizing that the drain was not routed into the septic. Instead, it was draining into the ground...something that was acceptable in 1940 when it was built. Over 85 years, the drain pipe had eroded and likely collapsed, causing the sink to stop draining. Tyler went to great lengths to figure this out, and was 100% ambitious, positive and reassuring in stating that it would be fixable. Two days later, he returned to perform the work and succeeded at rerouting the pipe to the septic. Tyler was extremely hard working and represented his company in an exemplary manner. It was not an easy task and he should have been supported with some help, or the job assigned to a smaller plumber. He gave 5 star effort. I would not, however, rate the company as high, due their lack of concern for his safety.

However this latest time I received services from them I ended up receiving a bill that was extremely high. The Electrician that showed up was only here for a total of 18 minutes and the round trip from their Business location to my home is a total of 10 minutes for a total time of 28 minutes that they spent on my issues. However when they sent me a bill for the service I was charged for a total of 1.5 hours instead of just 0.5 hours. When I called them about how much my bill was being over charged (Padded) they said that they were going to reduce it to 1.0 hours. That's still double billing me for what they did but I guess it's better than being triple billed. None the less I most certainly will not be using their services again after this as I just don't appreciate being taken advantage of as a disabled elderly person and veteran.

We needed someone to install a walk in tub. One of the bids we got was from Apex. They won the bid…read more Upon installation of the tub one of the plumbers complained the entire time stating "he didn't like these tubs". Once installed, the chromatherapy light area was leaking. They decided they might void the warranty if they did it wrong. We contacted the manufacturer who told us it would not void it and it was not electrical. They sent us a replacement part. Once it arrived I went to the store to tell them it was there. They informed me they weren't going to touch it. I told them I would find someone else to do the work then. I told them I wanted a refund on the work they didn't complete and the woman who was talking to me said "Ok" with a thumbs up action. I ended up calling another plumber who fixed the problem in less than a half hour. Again stating it was a plumbing issue NOT electrial. While he was there I had him look at the items still needing installation. While doing this he pointed out a scratch and a chip on the tub we had purchased from Apex. They had told us about one of them and assured us it would be covered up by drywall but they DID NOT tell us about the chip. Since the room is being remodeled there is no lighting. The new plumber said it could be buffed out. It looks like a tool might have dropped on it. Apex was the only one who has worked in the bathroom so far. Additionally, the tub water spout piping was off center by 1 inch. I called and asked to speak to whoever was in charge. Was told that was Lindsay and she was out of town till the following week. If they didn't like doing walk in tubs they shouldn't have given us a bid. Thank goodness we found someone who was able to finish their job.
