I called to get a quote on a few lights I needed installed and a quote for a 50 AMP outlet for our RV. The owner himself came by and basically gave me a round about quote and said what the per hour rate was and my list was RV outlet, 4 outside outlets, 4 light changes, an outdoor plug in at the back of the patio that did not work needed troubleshooting etc. He basically said he would have 2 people here for all day and gave me the price for the 2 men all day. The 2 electricians showed up when they said they would and finished quicker than the whole day and only billed me for the 6 hours that they were here. I had a scheduled appointment to check an issue I thought I might have, the two gentlemen arrived on time and I informed them of what my issues are as told by another electrical repairman from Jacksonville base a/c contractor(?) who's sideline are plumbing and (electrical what a joke) and probably A/C). The two men from Thibaults Electrical Service promptly to work and found NO ISSUES that I was faultlessly informed of by Jacksonville company person.They completely check our home's wiring system and my large work shop. and asked If we needed any thing else. By getting Thibaults Electrical service the cost of the service was a very nominal charge compared to the 4500.00 dollars the jerk from the Jacksonville service tried to talk my wife and I into.He was trying to rip us off in other word. They completed the project in less time than estimated. Being a former construction company owner, I have very tough standards to meet. The gentleman from Thibault's Electric were great. They arrived on time, were very friendly, professional and courteous. They completed our electrical work in approximately two hours, which I thought was fast for the work we had done. We had them install a fluorescent light fixture in a bedroom closet and on our deck a new outdoor motion sensor light including the inside switch. Also a very nice GFI outlet installed on our deck. Overall I would say Thibaults Electric gave us A-1 service. Fast, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. The cost was also very competitive. Absolutely too-notch company. My house was struck by lightning a few months back, and they were at my house within 90 minutes to get everything back online, making sure we had AC in the hot FL summer, as well as ensuring it was safe to run until they could come back with parts to do all the repairs. I thought I would be paying ridiculous wages but it was fair for the speed of response and quality of work. I've since had them back multiple times to repair the damage done by the lightning- they are easy to schedule appointments, show up on time, have super friendly electricians, and do absolute quality work at a quick pace. I can't recommend them enough. Electricity is not something I want to mess around with, so I don't mind paying someone to get it done right, and this is the company to call. Second time I used them, I had a fan that was 9 months old moved from one room to the other. Called them after a guest stayed with me and informed them it was constantly making noise and could they check it out as a warranty request. They said yes. I scheduled the appointment Two weeks in advance. I then called the morning of and confirmed again. I then proceeded to take the afternoon off work to wait for them. Around 4 o'clock I called them to find out where they were and at that time they informed me that they didn't feel like coming out here and that I should just buy a new fan to pay to have them install again because they claim that the technician told me the fan was making noise. The technician pointed out that the fan has some noise upon start up and I told him that was normal but I didn't run the fan for any amount of time until I had a guest stay will me. The man I spoke to was just so bothered by having to deal with me. He told me they'd be around at some point when they came back through. 3 weeks have passed and I've heard nothing. I will never use them again if that is how they treat their customers. Unreal. read more
