First time coming back after their Tempe market. They must have expanded, and it seems like way more vendors. There was plenty of parking at Paradise Valley Community College, and the $5 entrance wasn't bad. Wish they had more variety of vendors. After about halfway through, they seem all the same. But this is compared to the vintage market in Alameda. After walking through the entire market, I only walked away with a book. read more

We are wintering in Mesa and decided to make the drive to Phoenix for this flea market, and we were not disappointed. There was a great variety of treasures and lots of vendors. We appreciated the food and beverage trucks as well as the convenient porta potties and wash stations. We would highly recommend if you are into flea markets and are in the area. read more

Wonderful location! Great stuff from terrific, friendly vendors. Glad you are open again. Only four stars instead of five because of one objection: we wanted coffee but the sole coffee vendor had a political bumper sticker prominently displayed, so we passed on buying from them.. We merely wanted a relaxing day, free of politics and and other garbage. I saved $ by not from buying from them. Please, keep this market a mellow and relaxing place to visit... And get a second, politics free coffee vendor for those who want their coffee minus bs. Thank you! read more

By far the most disappointing flea market Ive ever come across. $5 entry to walk around and look at the overpriced yard sale rejects. 5 rows of crap selling at or above market value. Seriously, this place is not worth coming to. read more

Super fun flea market. Lots of vintage clothes, also antiques, collectibles, hand made arts and crafts, furniture. I never leave empty handed. Very nice vendors, most are willing to haggle. On second thought don't go, save all the goodies for me! read more

I went to this market for the very first time this weekend. 1/6/23. It was $5 to enter. The market was rather small but I think it has the potential to be much bigger as the season warms up. Today was cold and just after the Christmas season so I'm not sure if that had any impact on vendor turnout. The crowd was quite busy even when we arrived at 8:20am. As we were leaving around 11am a steady stream of customers were flowing in. All of the vendors had interesting merchandise but you do have to dig through boxes. I don't mind doing that and found a couple of pretty frames stacked on top of each other in an old suitcase. Some items were reasonably priced and others were not so much. You can negotiable with most of the vendors and all of them took my offers. They had a couple of food trucks on the day I attended along with a coffee, lemonade, ice cream and kettle-corn vendor. I would definitely go again but would hope that there would be more vendors who offer!more unique, vintage home decor, lighting and furniture etc. Today there were alot of clothing and old t-shirts vendors. More variety would be nice. I found out on my visit that the company "Thieves Market" has recently been sold to a new owner so hopefully there are some new and exciting things in the works. read more

I was there last Saturday. 1st. update the website, Admission is now $5.00, much too high. You will lose buyers, and then the vendors. Dipping in twice collecting from both sides, not wise. Parking was ok, however due to the festival at the college, pretty cramped. Many stands were empty, due to the rain announced. Merchandise ok, some overpriced. Drop the admission price, you will get more buyers show up. read more

Place is filled with yard sale garbage. The vendors don't price anything - when they do it's outrageous. They have no monitoring of the entrance... while we just paid $12 entry, people we had parked with just walked in without anyone stopping them. Such a waste of time. Half this stuff could've been donated or thrown away. read more

Fun, eclectic mix of trash and treasures. A huge variety of booths with everything from antiques and barn finds, to unique handcrafted items. We have found tons of things we didn't know we needed and we always have a great time. I suggest you give yourself plenty of time to browse and bring water since shade is scarce. I thought this market was super cool! Very interesting finds and I found exactly what I was looking for. They also had Food trucks and live music. I would love to share a booth with someone here for my own art. I thought most of the prices were reasonable and I loved all the originality. Having been to other swap meets here I had low expectations going to Thieves Market for the first time. I expected it to be a lot of crafty junk and knockoff handbags. But I figured it's only a dollar so no big loss if it's a bust. I was happily surprised to find a lot of actual vintage items there! There was a lot of cool furniture, lamps, clothes, kitchen stuff, and trinkets to rummage through. And yes, it's used. I have to laugh at the reviews that were annoyed at the fact it's almost all used stuff. It's a flea market - that's the idea! A good portion of it was pretty overpriced though so that was a bit of a bummer. But since each booth was manned by a different person, that of course varied depending on what you were looking at. And I did overhear one woman try to haggle and fail so I'm not sure how big haggling is here although I would think most vendors would be open to it. It took my boyfriend and I about an hour or so to walk through the whole thing. I bought a pair of earrings and he almost bought some car stuff but decided against it. So we didn't come out with an awesome haul or anything but I would definitely check it out again. read more

Really nice selection of different antique vendors with a wide selection of pricing. Loads of Goodwill-type items with a Ross-kind-of sticker price, but there are a handful​ of vendors with really unique items and often one-of-a-kind items, but many of them inflate their prices beyond the normal marketplace standard. With many vendors to choose from, a handful of food trucks/food/drinks to choose from, you could easily spend your entire Saturday morning or afternoon here with just a small entry fee. Definitely worth stopping by! read more

This market was tons of fun to participate in! Everything was well organized, the folks that run it are super cool, and the customers are great! It was the smoothest load-in/load-out that we've ever experienced. We don't sell antiques; we sell mixed media art and jewelry. It was a fun day trip to set up, sell, and meet really nice people. This is the best of the best when it comes to antique and vintage collectibles! I've found so many awesome things, from my old school malt shake maker, stuff for my office & Garage...even found a set of hub caps for my bug! Very personable vendors willing to bargain and the folks that throw this monthly swapmeet also do The Big Heap! Love it! TONS of GREAT TREASURES! Totally worth the $3 to get in...don't know why folks are so cheap with three bucks. Still cost two bucks at the Phx swapmeet and the Thieves Market is legit vintage stuff! read more

Attended this "market" a few weeks ago in the parking lot at Big Surf in Tempe. I left feeling that I had been cheated for paying the $6.00 early entry fee but to tell you truth I would have felt ripped off even paying the regular $3.00 entry fee. VERY few vendor booths. Took me no more than 1/2 hour to go through the whole thing. Disappointing since I had driven 45 minutes to get there. Won't be wasting my time in the future. read more

Interesting collection and fun for a Saturday with great weather. I do agree that many vendors don't price their items m, which can be frustrating. For $3 entry it is worth the time to see if you can find any fun treasure. My favorite vendor was AZ sultry suds who makes wonderful homemade soaps. I arrived at 9am when it opened to the crowd. I quickly scanned the booths (which took about 30 minutes) and then went back for my faves but they were already gone. Shoulda known! Regrets! Lots of great small furniture pieces like barstools, tables, funky junk waiting for transformation, vintage jewelry, clothing and more. It was not a swap meet but authentic retro, antique and vintage pieces. There was great live music, a barista truck and barbecue. If you're looking for a piece or looking for a piece to find you, I totally recommend. Go EARLY for the best selection! read more

This is a great place for antiques and unique crafts. It was fun to wander through the market, often going through boxes for just the right treasure. The vendors were helpful and informative. Unfortunately the admission fee of $5 did not seem like good value to us and will prevent us from returning in the future. We based the 3 star rating mainly on value. read more

Went to a sale here last November and place was packed and could hardly move around inside Parking was challenging. They will hold your items till you're ready to check out. Good system for drive through pickup after checkout. Expect to pay top dollar. No bargains here. Eclectic items. read more

And when everything is displayed too nicely, you are gonna pay too much! Digging for the treasures is the whole idea! Be ready to go through boxes! Its great fun! A real swap meet/flea market very little in the way of commercial cheap junk and knock offs. I found some excellent deals on certain things, but am keeping those a secret so others won't get my good stuff. Too many sellers here must have watched American Pickers based on some of the prices but there are deals to be had. This is what I remember swap meets to be. If only it was bigger. I did the early bird thing once and it's really not worth it. The kinds of things I am interested in, not too many other people would buy, so no need for me to get in early. read more

Was really looking forward to this market considering the hype. It was surprising how limited it was in terms of vendor/booths, not more than 20 if that. Too bad, because there was some interesting stuff, just not very much of it. read more
