Their flowers are beautiful. I get a bouquet every year for Valentine's Day. This year, I was feeling under the weather, was leaving work early when my boyfriend said the delivery window was 8-5. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

That's what walking inside was like -- a walk in someone's garden. Visually interesting, the vines, plants, pots, occasional lamp and other items were all scattered around almost haphazardly but with the effect of a victorian garden room. The Australian tree frogs in their container near the front of the store were a cute and oddly appropriate, surprise. And the scent of the place, green, and earthy and with a hint of floral, is a free zen moment just for taking the time to look. I needed a gift delivered, and although there weren't any flowers to show me, the owner promised that when the flowers came in later that day, he'd put together something nice. He did. The happy recipient (who doesn't like flowers?) was impressed and so was I for having taken a chance with this off the beaten path florist.
