There are some cookbooks, lovely scented candles and many gift and home decor gifts for friends and family. They were running a 14% discount for their 14 year anniversary today. You could picture the decor in your own home. "Buy local" is the intention here and deteriorating properties were bought up by the owner and given a stunning facelift to elevate the community. This was a closed down roller rink. There was also a cinema next door that turned to a gift shop and off beat eatery. The unique history of each is preserved in the original artifacts throughout. Being that this is art focused and unique, don't have the expectation of Walmart prices. Of course you're getting one-of-a-kind quality pieces that will make your heart sing when you see your selected art displayed proudly in your home. I was initially going to Archivers, but since they are closing in a few weeks, I had to find a new scrapbook home, and I found this place. Since I last lived in Michigan many moons ago, there were at least a few stores around. Now, the market's shrunk and it's harder to find good quality places like this. This place has EVERYTHING, and their open on Sundays at 10AM. That's right folks, no more waiting until noon to scrapbook! They have a beautiful huge lab with a nice selection of die cuts, TONS of supplies, and wall to wall paper, , albums and other items as well. I was very impressed with the selection here, and the gal that helped me was super nice. They also have Monday night make and takes, along with crops on Friday nights for $15 which includes dinner. I don't know if they have Saturday night crops, but if they did, I would totally go. Go check this place out. Worth the trip, and you can scrap in their lab for free. I did some shopping when I was there, and loved it! Prices are fair and reasonable, great hours and easy location to find.
