It made a really cute little keepsake at the end. And-- he LOVED going to the park at lunch time with the group. I didn't give it 5 stars, because this was our first time with "Engineering for Kids", so we don't have too much experience with the programs, but I would definitely go back.

JEI learning center provides a fun learning environment for the kids and it works well as a great…read morecompliment to their public school education. JEI help fine tunes their math, writing and reading skills, but most importantly they tutor the girls in a way that it is fun. They look forward to attending their two hour JEI session every week, and always have a good time. The work books that are given are also very creative, and enjoyable for the girls to do. As a parent, I just want to be able to help fine tune my daughters skillets without doing aggressive drills and I really think JEI is a happy medium. I would highly recommend any parent looking for extra tutoring or work on the side for their kids. The owner of the place is easily accessible and are very flexible/helpful to accommodate our ever changing schedules. Overall, I can not be more please with what JEI provides.

I ask her if I can try out the Y (which I have done at other Ys and she says "no" and then "it depends on the day of the week" and then "it depends on the time of day/session" - and it was open swim. Finally she agrees to go back and ask if I can try it out. She comes back and says I can do a guest pass for $20. I fill everything out and then she said that she'll only take cash which I don't have so I have to leave without a swim workout and having met a very unpleasant human.

I spoke with Ms Karen, Ms Carmen, and Ms Jennifer throughout my 8 weeks and all 3 people were helpful. They answered all my questions, gave me updates when I asked, and even offered advice for the new school year. My kids loved their teachers because they came home every day to talk about everything they had done. My son loved playing sports and my daughter loved her counselor/group. My child was not treated fairly or appropriately, and this experience has completely destroyed my trust in the program. The owner could not have been more supportive, brilliant and knowledgeable about the entire process.
