I dropped my truck off on Tuesday morning for a ceramic coating package. When I dropped the truck off, the owner was not at the business so he had an associate take delivery. I was told the truck would be finished at 1:00 on Saturday. As Saturday got closer, I checked with the owner, David Bruchis, who said it would be ready Saturday. On Friday I checked again and he said that Sunday would be better because the coating needed to set and he had to finish. We agreed to Sunday around 1:00. On Sunday morning, I texted saying I could pick up Sunday at 2:30 and he asked for more time. I said I would pick it up at 4:30. I arrived at 4:45 to find the owner, David Bruchis, still wiping down my truck, with dirt on the windshield, and minor swirl marks on the front hood, which is not the finished product of a ceramic coating. I needed the truck for a trip on Monday morning. David Burchis, the owner, brought up the idea of a refund until he finished the work. I said I could call my credit card company to refund half the amount until he finished. At this point he started to threaten me and I felt unsafe. I repeatedly asked for the truck so I could leave and he refused to give me the keys or allow me to leave. I ultimately had to call the police to force him to turn over the truck, which he did after 3 units arrived (pics below). When I returned home I saw a poorly covered paint scratch on my driver side rear door (pic below). I have already contacted Ceramic Pro Corporate to bring up the dispute with them.

Anyway, this business was closing on a Saturday afternoon when I called, and the owner - perhaps sensing my desperation - did not turn me away. He even talked me through directions to find him. He personally scrubbed the car inside and out, cleaning areas I would not even think of such as inside the door jambs and the area inside the door where the gas cap is. This car has probably never looked that good - or smelled that good- and it was with reluctance that I gave the keys back to my boss. But, as long as Kleen Fleet is in business I know it can be fixed again. I highly recommend and am going to take my own - much less dirty - car in next weekend.

He's also very arrogant in thinking that his customers lack common sense design knowledge. I asked for brand standards and each logo style (solid, reversed and alternative layout) in separate raw files. Marlon refused. I asked several times. He wouldn't even give us a new price for providing this service. He repeatedly made the excuse that my client could ask whoever we sent the file to to extract and export the file from the mess of a document he provided. When I told him this won't always be an option and that it's standard for a customer to get individual files, he blew me off and stopped returning calls. Now my client has to pay another designer to export the files into individual files. I think Marlon is use to customers unfamiliar with the design process and hates to be questioned by customers familiar with industry standards and protocol. For that reason alone this business will never get another client referral from me.
