Lucky for me, yesterday I was having lunch in E-ville, so I made a point to stop and see what they had to offer. OMG! If you need silly fun yard decor or if you are into Farmhouse decor for your home, you've got to shop here. There is stuff everywhere and it's all rustic and vintage looking. The creative side of my brain was working at warp speed trying to figure out where I could use many of the items. The couple working were a true mom & pop team. However, here at the new location in Glen Carbon, that is not the case. There's nothing nearby, but the positive is the layout and space of the store is so much better. Browsing the GB makes you feel like you are shopping, RH or Pottery Barn. Also, I am a big fan of Olive and Cocoa, a mail order catalog. My most recent visit, I found several items from the catalog, in TGB and I'd rather buy local, then from a major catalog. This store is amazing, the staff is always eager to help. If you shop like me and don't need help, they are cool with that, too. I can spend my money, without any help. If you're decorating your home, or if you need a gift for mom, your BFF and the school teacher, I'm telling you to come here and shop. I challenge anyone to come here and try to leave without buying something. You'll always find an item you gotta have.

They are not overbearing or annoying and they don't harass you like the kids at "guitar-mart". They carry a good selection of acoustic and electric guitars and basses, effects, accessories, etc. They also do live sound, drums and other things as well that aren't of interest to me as a guitar player. They have everything from beginner to professional grade instruments and gear. If they don't have what you are looking for, chances are they can get it and they beat any competitors price. I have purchased about 10 high end guitars and several high end tube amps/ cabinets over the years and countless effects, cables, strings etc. I now live about an hour away but rather than go to the chain store up the road I still make the trip to Edwardsville for my music gear needs because they are simply the best.
