They explained some lifestyle tips that might help and gave a few clear recommendations. It felt like the focus was on getting things manageable rather than trying to fix everything in one visit. They were calm and professional, and I didn't feel judged or brushed off. The room was clean and quiet, not too busy. It's not the fastest place but I'd rather have that than being rushed out. Dr. Trinh for whatever reason always wants to see his patient to talk about what they want/need. All I wanted was my immunizations for proof elsewhere and he wanted to talk to me, why I do not know. I opted to just pick them up. At his appointments you could be waiting up to 30+ minutes for him to show up in the patient's room. My last visit was what topped me off. I waited 45 minutes in the patients room for Dr. Trinh until I had to speak to a MA. Mind you, my appointment was at 1 pm and another patient was at 130. For whatever reason they decided the see the 130 patient before me. I waited 10 more minutes before complaining to the receptionist. The reason for this meeting was strictly to talk about my labs. Well nothing was out of the ordinary with my labs. He just wanted to tell me that. He's a nice guy but he's obviously overworked.

Effective June 1, 2009, I will be reducing the number of patients I am able to see in primary care so that I can spend a portion of my time caring for patients at the Urgent Care Center. As a result, I ask that you transfer yoru care to one of my colleagues in Family Medecine at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation's Fremont Center. That's it? A 3-paragraph letter and our relationship is over? I don't even get a phone call? Breaking up with your doctor isn't quite as painful as with a significant other, but it still stings whenever I read that letter. I'd taken special care in selecting Dr. Miller. I'd researched top medical colleges, then searched through my insurance's list of in-network doctors, and narrowed my search according to college attended, and years in practice, then finally ended my search on Yelp. And now it looks like I have to go through this whole process all over again. What if another doctor rejects me? Will I ever find "the one". Why does it have to be so hard? I feel so alone. Our first visit Dr Miranda was very dismissive and didn't want to even go over my father's charts or listen to what we needed done. He interrupted me and put his hand up and said "we're not going to take care of all your father's problems". He was rude and short with us, and seemed like he didn't want to get involved. Before this appointment my father was hospitalized and the hospital doctor switched his meds from Gabapentin to Lyrica. Lyrica is a very strong controlled substance, one that needs tapering down. You can't just stop taking it otherwise it could send my father to the hospital with severe withdrawal symptoms. Dr Miranda doesn't seem to care and refused giving any refills!! He instead suggests going to a clinic. This is malpractice. He should lose his license and ability to call himself a doctor. Dr Miranda is very old, can't seem to keep all his very archaic paperwork system in order, very rude and should give up the business. Patients beware!!

Run away! I'm…read moreworking for a tech company, and the health care insurance provided by my company Facebook suggests this office. I have a very bad experience. I will tell my friends to not come here, and ask my employer to take this office off the suggestion. My story: _Booked an appointment and visited the office. _On my first time visit, I visited it on time but had to wait for 30 minutes. _The nurse came, weighed me, and gave me a flu shot. She was rude. She constantly dropped items on the floor, talked loud, and was aggressive. I think she also told me that "I won't kill you. Don't worry" which scared me af. _Waited for another 30 minutes. _The doctor came, asked a few questions and scheduled a follow-up. Less than 10 minutes. _Next day, I was charged $300 for new patient fee, where the insurance only covered partially. _Forgot the 2nd appointment date (it's my fault but there was no reminder / call from the office), and was charged $80 for no show fee. So yeah... they did nothing for me and charged $400. I don't think they give a shit about you, and only care about your money.
