The owners were super friendly and knowledgeable not only about the books they were selling but of local authors, creative workshops, and bookish events. The shop offers a selection of contemporary fiction, memoirs, romance, thrillers, manga, children's books, etc. as well as zines, apparel, stickers, crochet animals, art prints, and more! What stood out to me was that one shelf was curated by a pop-up bookstore specifically centered around Black voices and stories, so the sense of community and culture was lovely. There were several little nooks to sit and read, and I loved the used books shelf where you can even trade in your own books for store credit! As far as I know, it is the oldest bookstore in Tulsa. :) There's something for everyone here, no matter what you believe or where you're coming from. The book selection is super eclectic. Lots of spiritual titles, but also plenty of stuff that's just interesting and off the beaten path. I always grab some incense while I'm here. Kind of a ritual at this point. Role playing game items and collectibles. There is a separate section for gamers to set up their games at. The store associate greeted us when we came in and was friendly. Their kid selection could use some more options I feel like you're really limited. It is small and it is located off campus right across from the burger king. I wish this place offered some sales every now and then the shirts i always buy are $45 plus for one because the specific brands i like their material must be better made or something. They don't have dressing rooms just the restrooms which now due to covid its completely closed. I wish they opened those back up because if you're dropping $100 on 2 university shirts let the person see if it fits. They could also use some music playing in here its always dead silent which is awkward and you aren't always greeted.
