I've been seeing Dr. Lucy Heo for all of my gyno needs for 3 years now. She is probably my favorite gynecologist that I've ever had. She is warm, friendly, and always seems to remember me despite the fact that I only go in once a year. When I was having recurring migraines and another doc suggested that my oral contraceptive could be a contributing factor, Dr. Heo presented me with a list of options that would be better for me. While it is a Catholic hospital and she said she was not allowed to order an IUD for me, she told me how I could go about getting one through somewhere else. Never any judgment. She has listened to and addressed all of my concerns, and I have always felt that she cares for me like a friend or a daughter and not just another patient. I no longer dread my annual pap because Dr. Heo is so amazing. The only thing I'd change is maybe some nice cloth covered stirrups and fabric gowns instead of the itchy paper ones. One office I've been to in Bloomington-Normal IL had both, but the doctor wasn't nearly as good as Dr. Heo. As an aside, I've also never had any problems with the front office staff there. Sometimes it's a little confusing who I should check in with, but I've always been treated kindly and professionally.

This time a woman answered, claiming she had "no control" over the patient coordinators and would "pass along" my concerns. Won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. But it's a shame that Lauren Streicher is always all over TV promoting this center and her doctors as a refuge for women who need their help. Yet it's nothing but flashy marketing. You're creating roadblocks for women more than you're helping. Deeply disappointing. Truly did not expect to have an experience like this. But you've all now been warned.

She was very rude and dishonest I went in concerned about…read morelack of fetal movement and she got mad at me and more concerned over the fact that I wasn't at a different location and said I didn't belong there. She would ask me questions yet talked over me condescendingly and even pointed at the ultrasound and asked if I understood what I was looking at I said no and she rolled her eyes and said "omg how don't you know " and said it was low amniotic fluid and my baby was going to die soon. I had my.relative on the phone while it happened she kept coming into my room to tell me my baby was going to die and gave me the address to the "hospital I should be at" that I could not be treated there even though it was an urgent matter. I cried all the way to the other location just to find out she lied and everything was fine. I have never endured such hair pulling stress in my life I really thought i was going to lose my baby that day.

She makes you feel at ease. Her bedside manner is fantastic. I was getting my nexplanon removed, and she made a really small incision (she could have made a bigger incision to make it easier to remove, but she didn't want me to have a big scar. What's more, they failed to write a formal referral. Now we are stuck with medical bills in excess of $1,000 that insurance will not pay due to their administrative error. We don't have the resources to pay this bill so as a result our credit will be ruined for years. What's worse is that her office has failed to take any responsibility for this situation or provide assistance in any way. Instead, they turn around and blame us for their mistake. This behavior is abhorrent. Our advice: stay far away from this doctor's office. There are plenty of doctors available who are at least able to run a competent operation. After all, if you cannot rely on your doctor to take care of the simplest and most routine paperwork, how can you have any faith that the doctor will competently care for your health or the health of your child?

It was very in and out (the whole thing took about 30 minutes including filling out new patient paperwork, waiting in the waiting and exam rooms, and the actual exam). It was totally routine, so I can't rate a complicated/problematic visit, but for a typical yearly exam, it was great! Dr. Wehrmann is very nice, professional, and speedy! I'll be back, but hopefully not until next year. :)

I love Northwestern, but oof this location...hire people who know what they are doing. Waited…read morealmost an hour for a nurses appointment, they kept telling me that I was going to be called soon, come to find out the entire time I was waiting they couldn't "find the order in the system" which was there, and I had no problem going to another location for the appointment! Communicate!!!! If you can't find the order, even after calling a nursing manager, 3 other admin staff members looking in the computer, tell me that so I can make the decision to stay or leave!!!! Definitely won't be going to this location. Disappointing
