After losing my first child I was high risk when I got pregnant the second time, because of his expertise and care my daughter is now a healthy 20+ years old. My last pregnancy was very smooth, but the delivery almost cost me the life of my child and myself because of a rare complication, but because of the exceptional care of Dr Harpel and his staff I have a healthy 18 year old, and my own life. I can't recommend him enough.

had a botched ovarian cyst surgery (i have scar tissue from where i was born with hydrocephalus &…read morehad to have a VP shunt put in since birth) had a shunt revision in 1992 when i was 8, so i accumulated alot of scar tissue in my abdomen area, so my original surgery date was jan. 13, 2022, and it got moved cause elkinson had gotten the corona virus, then it was moved to january 26, 2022, she assured me & my mom that everything would be ok, and i didnt know what happened, i woke up 4 hours later, with my intestine area medically stapled, then elkinson said she ran into some problems with my body (basically she was plowing through my intestines puncturing holes in them, and she drained the ovarian cysts, but left the sacs in me) i ended up having sepsis, was in the hospital for a week, went to elkinson on a follow up, and when me and my mom were in the examination room, i was laying on the examination table, elkinson was taking out the staples, and a flood of pus & blood basically was gushing out of me, had to be readmitted into the hospital, the doctor that worked on sewing up the holes in my intestines, introduced me to the woundvac, and i had to go back and forth between elkinson (who really didnt help much with what i was going through) and the doctor dr mathis that put me on that woundvac ( she was the one i mainly had to go to to monitor and keep a eye on my healing) and it took me about 4 months to heal up from that, i was going back and forth between elkinson & mathis about 4 times a month, then elkinson blamed me for being too fat and having too much scar tissues of why what happened, happened. ill never go back to that woman ever again. she literally makes you feel like emotional shit about yourself.

She explained everything to me and made sure to answer any questions I had. The only downside was my wait time. My first appointment I waited roughly a half hour before I was seen. My second appointment was much better as I waited maybe 10 minutes. I would highly recommend Dr. Elkinson.

Very disappointing experience with the Kendra Collins, ARNP for a recurrent Bartholin abscess…read more After waiting over six days for an appointment, the abscess ruptured on its own. Despite continued swelling, the exam was minimal--no temperature was taken, drainage was not examined, and I was simply told everything looked "good." When I questioned why the plan of care previously discussed with a physician at this practice in March was not being followed, the practice manager was brought in, which felt intimidating rather than supportive. My concerns about recurrent infection and possible sepsis were dismissed, and I left without a clear plan of care. I expected compassion, a thorough assessment, and to have my concerns taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would recommend seeking care elsewhere.
