Awful doctor. No help at all. Might as well talk to myself. I would have gotten more relief from it.

Beware staff is terrible. We moved from Dallas and my son's allergist was an award winning Physician that gave us extremely great personal care. My son had severe allergies that made daily functions difficult. Under the Dallas clinics care for over a year, he had become so much better and we wanted to make sure he gets the same care and chose Chacko after reading the reviews. We made the initial visit to established care and arranged to get his serums transferred over from the Dallas Clinic and agreed to continue his shot regimen based on what he was receiving in Dallas cause it's been working and we've been on it for over a year. He had made significant progress and wanted to continue. After ranging shipment and paying $190 to get it shipped, we were notified that one of the vials was broken. Which is ok. In the whole process the Dallas Clinic was always in contact and keeping us updated. Chacko clinic asked if we wanted to pay for a new serum or have them resend the broken vial. I chose to have them resent since i already spent 190 for shipment. This was over 3 weeks ago and they have not contacted us since. The Dallas Office was in contact telling us that the Vial arrived at Chacko on the first week of April. No one from Chacko ever called us. I called their number and was told by the agent to email them and that he would make sure it goes to the right people. I was given their generic inbox email address. Sure enough a week passes and still no response. I sent them a follow up email, concerned with the health of my child cause they are not following up and sure enough they call back right away with excuses. Pretty much blaming the Dallas office saying they sent it to the wrong office location. But fail to realize that Dallas office has been in contact every week through the progress while Chacko has been ignoring us for a month and a half. I don't understand how I am suppose to believe them. After 5mins of them giving me excuses, I patiently listened and gave them my concerns again in which the 2 people that had called constantly cut me off every 5 seconds and when I called them out on it, they said :"Oh now you wanna talk" sarcastically when in actually they've been the ones talking and not letting me talk. They said how can you prove that the dallas office sent the replacement vial. I said track it. They said: then tell me which office it went too. I asked why does that matter I am not responsible for your intake mail. They said: you can't expect to be responsive for lost mail. I told them, it shows confirmed on the first week of April and you said that first vials were delivered to the Alpharetta office when this office is in Buford so clearly you guys get mail forwarded internally. They proceeded to cut me off and at which i lost it and told them to remove my child from their care. They are really taking lightly that they are playing with my child's livelihood. We spent almost 2 years of effort to get him to his point where he can function semi normally and now they are ruining all that progress. I have no idea how they are even rated this high, being an outside person having had access to top notch care, they don't even compare. I mean ignoring us for a month a half with 1 call to let us know that a vial broke after the first week and nothing after is plain negligent and dangerous. Even my prior clinic stated that they are concerned cause they just seem too big to care and are unable to provide personalized care. Just seems like an Allergy farm to farm shots and not provide any individual care. Beware, if your case is complex, your better off going to a more private clinic. read more

Just in for my shots today. It's definitely start of allergy season. Before I started with Chacko allergy, Asthma and sinus I would be fighting sinus problems every fall October and November. That's every homecoming, every Halloween and every Thanksgiving with sinus infection, stuffy ears, drainage in my head. Not to mention when my histamines are high I would get itchy from the slightest abrasion, grass, mosquito bite, even a nylon bag. Until I started immunotherapy with Chacko over 5 years ago I no longer have these symptoms. I come in once every four weeks and keep the symptoms at bay! read more

This place is the absolute worst!  Please find somewhere else to go.  I've been getting allergy shots for years and years.  Today, I literally drove nearly 4 hours to make it to my appointment.  I arrive and realize I forgot my epipen (something that I've never needed at past allergy docs), but that's their rule.  Well, I just drove 4 hours and forgot it.  They don't care.  No epipen, no shots.  Seriously, I give up.  Back to the drawing board to find someone for my weekly allergy shots that doesn't have such outlandish rules.  It won't surprise me at all of these idiots send me a bill for a missed visit even though they are the ones that turned me away. read more

I was recommended to see this doctor by a friend due to some sort of allergic reaction (hives). I had been having symptoms for several weeks and had seen a dermatologist and my primary care. After a pretty expensive allergy test, I did not come up with anything significant. This doctor told me he didn't know the cause and told me to go on Zyrtec 4 times a day and come back in a couple weeks. There was no other assessment or investigative probes let alone asking to see where the reaction was occurring. After 3 days from that visit, my hives got worse. I begged to come back in and begged for a shot or steroids. I was in so much discomfort. The doctors PA saw me, and did not ask to see the breakouts on my body. She told me "you just don't know what can break you out". She sent me home with steroids and referred me back to my dermatologist. Then, just this week, I received my EOB from my insurance company for this office visit and they overcharged me for the services by $200. I tried calling billing several times and it goes straight to voicemail. I've emailed with no response back. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. They are about collecting the $$ and are not interested in finding root causes, just treating symptoms and over- billing you and your insurance company. read more

The Dr is very nice. The scheduler is extremely rude at every appointment. I will not return to this office.

I have been ill for over 3 months. My symptoms started as a tightness in my chest, then I developed a cough. Fatigue, often severe, soon set in. Since then I have had a sore throat, hoarseness, headaches, body aches, chills, shortness of breath, and GI upset. I have been on 2 rounds of steroids, 2 different antibiotics, several asthma/allergy medications (rx and OTC), and none of them have improved my symptoms. I am currently receiving no treatment. I have been to Urgent Care twice, the ER, had visits with an infectious disease doctor, had visits with 2 different pulmonologists, and am now seeing an allergist. I have had 3 chest xrays, an echocardiogram, and a CT of my chest. I have had more blood draws and blood tests than I can count. I have had allergy skin prick tests. I have been tested for Flu, Covid, common bacterial and viral infections, and I'm, not even sure what else. The only tests that have come back abnormal have been the allergy tests. Despite this, I am not receiving treatment for allergies. I saw an Dr Chacko, an allergist, 3 weeks ago. He confirmed my allergies and remarked how unusual it is that my allergies have not responded to treatment. He ordered a methacholine challenge test to get more information. Since then, I have asked his office numerous times regarding the status of the order, where it was sent, when it was sent, and who to talk to about the order. I have gotten so many mixed stories that I do not know the truth. I do not know for certain where the test was sent, and no one has called me to schedule the test as promised by Dr Chacko's office staff. I feel that Dr Chacko's office staff have had ample time to answer my questions regarding where the order was sent and who I need to call to schedule the test, but 3 weeks later, I still have no definitive answers. My quality of life is less than what it was. I am suffering. Some days the fatigue is so bad that I sleep for 12 hours and do not feel rested. The tightness in my chest feels like someone constantly pushing on my chest and holding my airways. The coughing has been so bad that I developed body aches severe enough for it to take an hour to crawl out of bed in the morning. Without this test, Dr Chacko will not prescribe treatment, but I feel that it is impossible to get any information on how to get this test from Dr Chacko's office. I feel like my case has been dropped or neglected. I am posting this message in several places in an attempt to get more information from Dr Chacko's office regarding the status of my test because simply calling his office with the same questions over 3 weeks is not enough to get an answer. I am also posting to ask why it has taken this long for me to still have no answers regarding the status of this test and why no one will answer me. Every answer I have gotten so far has later turned out to be false or incorrect. Dr Chacko and Dr Chacko's office staff: will you please answer me truthfully and help me get this test done so that I might have a small chance of recovering from whatever has been making me ill for more than 3 months? If you will not, please just tell me so I can find another doctor. read more
