Chris Berg and Keira did an amazing surgery to remove cancer from spot on my chest. Very professional and knowledgeable on what needed to be done and accomplished procedure successfully. Above and beyond!! I cannot even begin to explain how this office and staff went above and beyond on helping my husband and making him feel comfortable and giving him a game plan. From start to finish they had smiles and answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole visit. They gave the best places to get his medication and kept reassuring him to call them anytime with any questions or concerns. We absolutely highly recommend this dermatologist and want to thank all the staff here for making it such a comfortable and easy visit. read more

Been seeing them almost 2 yrs and idk what to think or do.I take Humira for Psoriatic Arthritis ,get meds. every 3 months and havent got it in time MAYBE ONCE in this last yr.Always something, its sent from out of state and takes a week to deliver. I call a couple of weeks ahead and " NO PRoblem" But there always is. Its been since last monday i called Humira, no script, wait till friday,still no script, call fri,call monday nothing ,nobody even knows what im talking about ,SOMEONES on VACA?? So explain again wait today i get a call from drs office ,what do i need? ,No blood tests, tests were done 3weeks ago ,like always . It just NEVER WORKS OUT!!!! Im sitting here with my left ankle swollen to the point i cant put shoe on ,right knee is hyperextended ,all my issues start coming back.I havent been walking for about 3 days its so painful. So I SIT and wait. The whole process was just starting over this morning ,shes going to get on it. lol OK. Thanks. ; ( read more

Thomas Dermatology diagnoses and treats all diseases of the skin, hair, and nails by utilizing the most innovative and proven treatment protocols and technologies. We provide expertise in a wide variety of skin conditions, ranging from common to complex. Our providers are skilled at treating conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, including skin cancer. In fact, aside from our expertise in MOHS micrographic surgery, we are one of the few practices in the West to offer electronic brachytherapy, allowing focused radiation treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers in the office.

For more than 30 years, Thomas Dermatology, guided by the vision of its founder Dr. Douglas Thomas, has provided comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care to the residents of the greater Las Vegas Valley. Our philosophy is simple: we care deeply about our patients. Amidst the rapidly and ever-changing landscape of health care delivery, both nationally and locally, our singular focus on patient care has remained constant. From our inaugural office in Southwest Las Vegas, Thomas Dermatology has expanded to include two locations in Las Vegas and one in Henderson, Nevada, as well as offices in Bullhead City, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. We have grown responsibly, enabling our team of skin care experts to provide all the benefits of a large practice while maintaining the care and relationships that come with a small, private, local practice.

Meet the Business Owner: Douglas T.

Douglas Thomas, MD, FAAD, is the founder and Medical Director at Thomas Dermatology, with offices in Bullhead City, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona, as well as two locations in Las Vegas and one in Henderson, Nevada. He boasts many years of experience treating people of all ages. His areas of expertise include pediatric and surgical dermatology, including skin cancer treatment. Dr. Thomas grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in Summerlin, Nevada. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology with honors from the University of San Diego in California. He graduated with honors from medical school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (UCLA), where he also completed an internship in pediatrics and a residency in dermatology. Dr. Thomas was selected Chief Resident and appointed Assistant Clinical Professor. He worked as a principal physician at Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinics for nearly two decades and was appointed Medical Director.

I was scheduled for a 3 month follow up. First of all, the appointment was cancelled with no notice. I found out when I arrived at the office. Even though they send out auto reminders and confirmations of the appointment they said not to pay attention to those. At the rescheduled followup they said they were now out of network for my insurance and would not see me. Again no call informing me of this. Just auto messages confirming my appointment. I will never go to this place again. It used to be great but has seriously deteriorated. Go somewhere else.

Thankfully, they gave me an appointment for the next day. It turns out that it was a bacterial infection that could've led to serious consequences if not treated carefully. He drained the cyst, taking every precaution to keep from spreading the infection...making sure that he and his assistant(s) continually cleaned the working areas and washed their hands often. He had to wait until the infection was gone before attempting to remove the cyst itself. After taking an antibiotic for a month and biweekly check ups, Dr. Proctor was able to surgically removed the cyst. His suturing job was spot on! The stitches were in for a couple of weeks and were removed a few days ago. I just want to say thank you for a job well done !

From the time I entered the building. It was very clean and a good positive atmosphere. The whole entire front staff was very, very sweet and helpful. The girl who took care of me's name was Lacee. She was the sweetest ever. She was very patient with me. I went in thinking I just had some skin infection and ended up needing biopsies. I was very nervous and when I get nervous let's just say I talk a lot. Lacee smiled and conversated with me the entire time, making me feel at ease. When the doctor came in, he was very professional and explained everything and listened to all my concerns. dr darren brooks is an exellent skin cancer dr.i came in his office not knowing what was growing rapidly on my fore arm. one look and he knew it was a super aggressive type of skin cancer. he explained his diag and removed it that same day. im so thankful that he worked with me , even tho i had no insurance.. the scar is minor considering the chunk that was removed. his assistant alesia was very good at stitching it up. thank you too the both of you, ill surely miss dr. brooks as i know now he knows his stuff. good luck dr brooks, sorry to see you leave the area sandra schmidt read more
