Dr. Golden and the entire staff has been wonderful . I broke my hip over two years ago and his team ( Dr. Vohra ) repaired it . Unfortunately it did not restore the arterial flow to the femoral head . Not their fault , it happens in about 20% of cases. In October 2025 the repair became a complete hip replacement . Within a short time , my mobility was restored . I feel better than I have felt in a very long time . It has been about a month since surgery ! I encourage folks with a painful hip to see Dr. Golden to see if this procedure is right for you , it is a game changer! The staff has been very kind and attentive every step of the way. Coming up on my fourth time seeing Dr Golden. He has operated on my fingers, fixed two broken wrists with a plate put in one and then 5 years ago did my right hip. I have not had any problem with his office or his bedside manner. I go to him as he is the best at what he does without question. I am in the process of making an appointment to have my other hip replaced. I trust him and want no one else. He is very very busy and no nonsense. Have patience, he is worth it 110%. read more

Dr. Golden spent the time and money to be trained in the anterior approach for total hip replacement and I am so happy that he did. He said that he did so because his patients have a better outcome. I was up and walking the night of surgery; had two therapy walking sessions before going home the next day. Used pain medication at home for three days then went to Tylenol for a week before giving it up. Walked with a walker at home for a week and then used a cane for the next three weeks before discarding it. I have been pain free, walking about a mile a day and doing 30-35 minutes on a stationary bike. Dr. Golden changed my life; wish I had had the surgery sooner. read more

Doctor Golden saved my life About 5 years ago started having some pain on my left shoulder and went to see a doctor that gave me a shot of cortisone and help for a few weeks. Later i went to see dr Thomas Golden and after having mri and xrays done he sent me to physical therapy but did not help. After talking to dr Golden it was determined i needed surgery. Surgery went well and after a few weeks went to PT slowly shoulder was getting stronger. The following year my other shoulder started having pain. Went back to Dr Golden and had mri and xrays done. Again shoulder needed surgery Fast forward 3 months and getting back to normal. After this period of pain that made life a daily struggle i thank dr Golden for giving back my life. Lesson learned is that if you want results please listen to the doctor and for gods sake follow physical therapy even if done with appointments. No therapy no improvements read more

Dr Golden has repaired both of my shoulders, for the 5th & 6th and FINAL TIMES! I had 4 surgeries by 3 PREVIOUS surgeons that failed. He had to replace my left shoulder JOINT & it's been strong & pain free for over 2 years. He's a wonderful surgeon & has an exceptional bedside manner; explaining clearly the exact problem and plan. His entire staff is ALWAYS prompt to assist, professional, reliable and welcoming! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. He's passionate about his profession & it shows! I am a retired nurse of 35 years. He very recently replaced my left knee, I welcome the opportunity to share this experience; updating the original review. My knee replacement went exceptionally well. I was up out of bed with physical therapists, early the day after surgery and, home 2 days after the joint replacement. I've had my 2 week follow up appointment and, I'm really gaining strength and endurance with outpatient physical therapy. Every surgery and every office appointment to treat my knees and shoulders has been, smooth, very timely, clear and reassuring. I really feel fortunate to be under his care. read more

I had both my Knees done buy this incredible Doctor hes is extremely talented and he's office is extremely efficient. My 1st Knee Replacement was 5 years ago knee is amazing. My second Knee Replacement was done 6 days ago Doctor is using a New Device called ROSA, its help in recovery of my surgery I am walking down the street and pain has been Manageable. I totally Recommend Dr Golden and there Staff extremely efficient and caring. read more

My Mom is a patient and has had a terrible time! Dr Golden has done two surgeries for her and that part is great. He is fantastic. His nurse Sarah.... no way! We called for a prescription refill and she didn't respond to us or the drug store after multiple calls daily for 4 days. Then she sent the "fax" to our cell phone. Lame. This time, we have been trying to get her to send a request for PT for more than 3 weeks. She's been left several messages even by the PT facility. Bottom line, this is a great place to go as long as you don't have to depend on her to do anything because she fails miserably at her job. On top of it all, she's rude and reprimanded my mother last time so she's intimidated to call. read more

He's a great doctor but my wait time was over an hour. Complete lack of regard for my time.

I was to see Dr Thomas Golden today at 9 AM. I waited a month for this appointment. I arrived on time. The front desk staff had me sign in then I waited 20 minutes before they called me to the desk only to learn they did not get my chart from "storage" and that I had to do paperwork since I had not been seen at their office in a year. Okay. So I did the paperwork- repetitive. And then asked how much longer it would be. I was told they had had emergencies and there were 3 doctors sharing 7 exam rooms. That was 9:30. Finally I was taken into one of the exam rooms; told to remove my shoes and have a seat the doctor would be in in a few minutes. Finally, at 10 AM when the doctor had still not come in to see me I told the staff I was leaving and that this was terrible service. No one ever said they were sorry for my wait to have been so long nor did they acknowledge that I had been inconvenienced. Also I want to note that my last visit to this orthopedic office when I was seen by Dr Sweet I had been apparently misdiagnosed as having a deep hamstring pull which turned out to be sciatica . I ended up at my neurosurgeon's office who treated me and resolved my pain successfully. read more

I went to Dr. Golden to examine my knee. Parking was ample, the wait was short. He had a great bedside manner and his diagnosis was delivered in terms I could understand. I have Ilio-tibial band syndrome. He related to me well using easy-to-understand references. read more

My son had Dr Golden look at his knee after and MRI showed a fracture. Ashwood Physical Therapy was recommended for 4 weeks. He's doing very well...Sam was a great physical therapist. This Dr's office goes out of their way to take care of people. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. The doctor could've recommended surgery ...but, he's got an incredible bedside manner and level of honesty rarely seen today. I"ve worked in the medical field for many years and know a great Dr's office when I see one! This one couldn't be better. read more

Dr. Golden has the worst bedside manner. He is arrogant and won't listen to the patients concerns. I was very disappointed with my visit. His nurse is just as bad as he is. I am not looking forward to returning. I will be looking for a new doctor. read more
