To start, he was very condescending, in any question I asked, and he made me feel dumb to even ask a question. I was at a loss for words for the NASTY deposition he displayed during my visit. It was to the point that I just didn't want to ask any more questions. Because of the rushed appointment, I walked away more confused than I did when I went in because of the lack of time he took to explain. Because of this bad experience, I don't want to go back. If I could give 0 stars, I would for this awful experience.

I walked into this establishment and was met by a lovely bubbly receptionist that helped me prepare for my first time visit. I stepped on a nail and it was embedded in my foot. After I signed all the paperwork I was greeted by a very charming and pleasant Assistant who took my blood pressure and weight. Soon following the Doctor entered and explained (in layman's terms) exactly what he was going to do for my injury. He really made me feel comfortable. Im always anxious when I visit medical facilities. He removed the nail quick and swiftly. I am a self pay patient (no insurance) and the cost was reasonable. Besides the unprofessionalism, for example, she has hung up the phone on me twice and she also broke the HIPPA laws by providing my son's principal with his personal information. She makes us feel unwanted when we arrive and if I have to ask her for any assistance she blatantly acts as if I am disturbing her. I have asked to speak with the office manager regarding the preaching of the HIPPA Laws and the way she portrays their office as the first face a patient sees or the first voice they hear, but I have only been able to leave a voice-mail or leave a message with the front desk to pass on, and I have never received a respond leaving me to believe they do not care about my concerns. My son suffers from ADHD and Anxiety, and he does not want to switch doctors as change is difficult for him (and me as well) so he tells me he doesn't want to change doctors. I do like the doctor, the nurse Practitioner is awesome and I suggest your go-to. The only other problem we do tend to have often is having them send in my son's medicines refills on time. It is very stressful as he needs them every 30 days, and these are medications that can affect him mentally If he misses even a day.

And that is what Frankly Communicating is; 'remarkable'. These are dedicated professionals reaching out in our community to help those so in need of their expertise. My daughter Sam is 39 months old and is diagnosed with Autism. 14 months ago, when we first started Sam's sessions with Heather, Sam only said 2 words of which she didn't understand, and had a half dozen signs in our effort to communicate with her. A frustrated little girl with tantrums to the max. Being unable to communicate with Samantha, her frustrations and meltdowns led us to Frankly Communicating. On our first visit Heather was able to get Sam to say the word "ball" a word that she knew the sign for and we tried so hard to get her to say. It was then I knew that I was in the right place. Heather gives all of herself in working with Sam and setting goals to keep her learning and achieving more. I have witnessed Sam trying her best to not do what is asked and expected of her, but always in a kind and professional manner Heather is able to resolve any situations that might arise and redirect Sam, and has taught me how to do the same at home. Sam has been receiving speech therapy 3 times a week and regular weekly OT sessions with Miss Dawn to help her overcome some of her fears and sensory issues. We have also done group speech with Miss Lauren working on Sam's social skills, and I must say that I couldn't be happier with the outcome of all of their services! Heather is also helping Sam with her eating issues and in the short few weeks that she has worked with her on this Sam has already began to eat a few different foods that she has never tried before, and also foods of different brands, colors and textures then her typical foods. I am finally able to take her to the park and push her on a swing after a year of working with Miss Dawn and Sam has gotten very good at socializing with her peers and other adults. We are always greeted and welcomed at Frankly Communicating by the staff and the other parents and I have met some amazing parents, grandparents and children! We are accepted as family along with the rest of the clients, and everyday we are there is one more stride forward in Sam's learning. My precious daughter who I never thought would say Mommy, went from using one word demands and is now speaking in sentences, not just to communicate her wants and needs but her feelings, her emotions and her own thoughts and actions. Heather's continual goal with each client is to help them achieve what we as parents so desire for our children. Thank you so much Heather, Dawn and Lauren! This has been an amazing journey and I will be forever grateful for everything that you have done not only for my child, but so many others as well.
