Do not bring your jewelry or gems to this place unless you plan on not seeing them again for months. They'll give you a one week work estimate and then take 3 weeks to get you a price estimate - or they put your items in drawers and forget about them for a month until you call and complain. We had a custom ring made and the entire experience was great! We had the diamonds we wanted to use and went to Jarred and all they did was want to sell us a new pre-made setting, not at all what we wanted. The minute we walked in Tom listened and designed everything we asked for and even made a CAD of the ring before we agreed to it, which helped us in our decision to design a ring. Father and son work this jewelry shop. He keeps an affordable inventory on hand of jewelry that is popular and in many different styles. However, if you are looking for more, ASK. He has done several special orders and custom projects for us. They have worked with my wife's rings, earrings and watches. None were a problem, other shops have refused because of age. If there is a downside, projects take time and you have to be clear before hand when you need a project completed. read more

I was looking for something extremely specific the first time I came here. The previous two jewelers I had visited were either unwilling or unable to help me. I initially wrote this place off because it was so much smaller than the other shops I saw. Turns out I was quite mistaken - I had the best experience at Thomas Jewelers by far. He actually helped me instead of blowing me off like the other stores did when they realized I didn't want an engagement ring. Business is run by the extremely gregarious Thomas and his son Nick. Thomas is a retired scientist and quite knowledgeable about metallurgy and other aspects of his craft. I've had them service and repair several pieces of jewelry and the work was top notch and completed quickly. They also make custom jewelry. Thomas made a wedding band for a friend and it's beautiful. The storefront is tucked unobtrusively into a strip mall across the street from the post office. It's partially below ground level and obscured by trees from the road, so it's easy to miss. Luckily, there are 3 entrances to the parking lot, so if you pass a turnoff can just take the next one. read more

I went to nearly every jewelry store between Gallatin and Nashville to repair my wedding band before coming across Thomas Jewelers, every one else refused to even attempt to fix my ring because it was tedious work. I lucked up and came across Thomas Jewelry online and told myself before I went in that this was my final attempt at trying to get it repaired. I actually started looking at new rings because I was convinced no one would be willing to repair my ring. My jewelry that was being resized was not ready when promised. When we went to pick it up, the job hadn't even been started yet. I had left it there for 2 weeks. The owner used profanity when I asked for my jewelry and the money I had already paid to have it resized back. He instead did the job on the spot when I asked for the money back (and this was the day it was promised to be completed). The job, however, was rushed and looked terrible. The sizes aren't right and part of one ring is now damaged. I will have to go to another jeweler and have the jobs redone and my damaged ring repaired.
