This place is terrible. The clinic is extremely small, with only one exam room for seeing patients, yet they have two separate rooms dedicated to storing patient records. It feels very greedy.The facility is also quite unhygienic. The air vent at the reception area is filthy and completely clogged with dust. The waiting room is tiny, but they chronically overbook appointments, so it quickly becomes overcrowded. Patients end up packed in and waiting for hours to be seen.I had ultrasounds done on both my chest and lower body. The doctor received the results but still required a separate appointment just to discuss them. This felt like another unnecessary way to generate more revenue. On top of that, they try to control your schedule by insisting you come in whenever they dictate and forcing you to book future visits during your current appointment. read more

Dr Tan is an amazing doctor, very appreciative that he took me as a new patient, a couple years ago, after my doctor unexpectedly retired. He is very thorough, ensures we get a blood test, 5 viles, every 3 months to ensure he can properly monitor us to receive the best care possible. Together with his wife, Evelyn, manning the front, they make the best team. Evelyn & team, ensures appointment reminders are submitted on time. As humans we forget, so these reminders are very welcome & wanted. Most of the doctors do not have any reminder system in place, if you forget, you maybe charged & need to reschedule. The wait, at times, maybe long, but, I don't mind. Because sometimes, he may need to spend extra time with other patients, to ensure we receive the best care. The doctor overbooks and sees you past your appointment time everytime. My mom has been going to this doctor for so long until he turns her away because of her change of insurance. Very Disappointed with Dr. Tan, my regular Dr. Office that I go to had called and said they were running late because of traffic so it'll be about 10 minutes. I really need to use the bathroom and they lock the door for the public bathroom and you need the key from your Dr. Office, so because my Dr. Was a little late I seen a assistance standing outside of Dr. Tan office waiting to get let in so I asked him if I could use their key since my Dr. Was late and he said let me check, the door opened and Dr.Tan was their so he asked if I could borrow the key for the bathroom and Dr. TAN said NO only for HIS patients, REALLY its the building bathroom not your Personal One. I thought that was uncalled for, not like I was dressed poorly or looked homeless but where is your COMPASSION???? Dr tan is a good doctor but the wait is ridiculous. Sometimes the wait to see him is 2 hours for him to see u for 5 minutes ( ok 10 minutes). He is thorough especially with the blood test. Just found out i need to psy $20.00 for dr to fill out a physical paper for work. I never got charged before. I've been having the dr do this for the past 5 years and now i have to pay. Drs are charging for every little thing now days. What's the deal. I got a tb test and got a co-pay chrage then went back to get the reading got another co-pay charge. Drs is just draining their patient's monies no wonder no one wants to see the drs anymore. read more

Wow! I am very impressed! Dr Tan was very thorough and was very familiar with a rare illness that runs in my family. Very efficient in getting you the best well rounded care. If you need a referral the staff makes your appointments before you leave the office. The male nurse is really friendly and comforting. read more

Dr. Tan has been my PCP for over a couple years now. My boyfriend's family recommended him to me; their whole family, coworkers, family friends go there as well. Dr. Tan, his wife (Mrs. Tan, who is also an RN), and his MAs make a really well-rounded staff. The wait is long (which I expect from a private practice) and can take up to a couple hours, but Dr. Tan is extremely thorough, professional, personable, and has wonderful bedside manners. Dr. Tan explains any ailments and medications very well, which I really like. He really takes his time with his patients, which I think is one of the many reasons he is so successful (thus, always a full office). I like that I can also call the office and ask Mrs. Tan for medical advice. Their staff is also very accommodating. They sometimes squeeze me in last minute when I have an emergency or need a test done for school or work. Lastly, I love that he does biannual blood tests-- keeps me in check! read more

I previously had a doctor who seemed like he could care less about my health and any issues I had so I went looking to switch my PCP and Thomas Tan came highly recommended! I can see why not only does he listen to anything I tell him regarding any health concerns I might have but also makes sure that I get the highest of care,I often times feel like I'm getting the Presidential treatment compared to how my last PCP could care less if I fell over dead in his office,I truly wish I had Found Doctor Tan years ago but as the saying goes "better late than never" I hope he never retires because his shoes will be hard to fill he has changed my health in ways I cannot begin to describe.I see complaints on here about time and for me I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes and I would rather if it ever did happen wait for a Doctor who cared than one who didn't of course he is busy and each patient takes a different amount of time something I have always understood and Doctor Tan is worth the wait should it occur. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm not a patient, but have been here several times to take my boyfriend in. His office is horrible and holds only 18 seats max. Except to be here about 2 hours. We wait for an hour or more every time we have an appointment and the office is about 60degrees. His patients are all 60years or older. Most speak a different language. The receptionist clearly knows patients are waiting long and it seems to be a normal thing here. Personally I don't enjoy waiting 2 hours to be seen by a doctor. It's ridiculous and a waste of a day. The office space inside is all squished like there is just coupon books piled on the sides. Reminds me of hoarder space. Dr. Tan seems more concerned with overbooking to make an income than he cares about actually seeing his patients in an ethical manner. Not recommended. His son is also his assistant who checks you in, takes your blood pressure and weight. Last time he came he imputed the information incorrectly. If your a patient if advise searching elsewhere for a doctor who cares about your needs and has time to see you. If your not a patient, strongly would recommend waiting in a freezer for 2 hours. They also don't accept cards as payment so have cash ready or write a check. Good luck !! read more

He may be a nice Doctor, but they suck because they always over book! Who does he think he is??? Every time we have an appointment, we don't see him for at least an hour passed our scheduled time! Dr Tan, his Wife and Staff are AWESOME!!!! Whenever I need a same day appointment, they are always willing to accommodate. Dr Tan is very thorough and professional with a great "bed side manner" which is hard to find in today's health care industry. I am not just a number to Dr Tan and his staff. Today, I left my driver's license with their receptionist and the medical assistant ran all the way to the parking lot to find me - - WHAT SERVICE!!!! My first time going to his office and it was packed! But I made my way to the front where I was greeted by 2 friendly receptionist (usually if an office is busy, the receptionist are mean) they made me fill out papers and I have them my ID and insurance cards. It wasn't like they asked for my life story, just the basics and need to knows. Gave them my papers and 10 mins later the MA calls me in the back and asks me general questions, took vitals, and sent me back to the waiting area (which was still crowded) not too long after my name was called and I met Dr. Tan. He's very friendly and asked me more questions. I told him about my allergies and if there's anything I can take (since I'm pregnant) he went over drug classifications with me and said yes, there are mess you can take that won't harm them baby. (THANK YOU MEDICATION GODS...because trying to breathe outta your mouth when your nose is clogged ain't the bizz, especially since you have all the other preggo symptoms) he electronically sent my prescription (I think they're transitioning to EMR's now) and said he'll see me in 6 months for a check up and to do bloodwork. I appreciate the staff and Dr. Tans time to explain, rather than check and give you something you have no idea what you're taking. read more
