And still loves going to the dentist. Never had a cavity neither. Since bringing my son here and loving the place the Dentist's son has aged along with mine and they play sports out of the same place. I can add that this man truly cares about kids. He's one of the few dads you'll see bringing his kid for some extra practice or to have fun. It's that same kind of caring and compassion you will see when you go here. His people skills as well as dental are unsurpassed. As can be expected. All his dental hygienist are stellar as well. If I ever move I'll more than likely be driving my kid to Springfield every 6 months. It would be that hard to go somewhere else after experiencing this.

Over the years my wife and I have had a variety of dental work done at Parkcrest Dental Group, mostly with Dr. Jason Hall. We honestly have experienced no pain. The fixes moreover have lasted. Dr. Hall is straightforward about the work that needs to be done and accomplishes it with skill and finesse. Parkcrest is a smooth operation with competent technicians, cordial receptionists, and superb dentists. That this has been a successful dental practice for 50 years is no surprise. Today I was in for a couple of fillings and a cap. While I don't look forward to having my teeth worked on, this has been the best dental experience I've ever had.

At 10:13am, I received a call from their office telling me that all the other appointments had cancelled around the time of my kiddos appointment and they were leaving early, so they were cancelling my appointment and I needed to reschedule. I told the lady okay, but I'd have to reschedule later since I have to schedule time off, get it approved, etc. Then at 1:04pm I get another text reminding me that I have an appointment scheduled at 3pm. I thought the message was a mistake because of the earlier call. After that, at 3:06pm I get a message from the office again asking me if I'm on the way to their office. I called the office and said no, I wouldn't be coming since they cancelled my appointment to go home early. The receptionist was super kind, but had no idea what I was talking about. I explained the prior phone call cancelling my appointment. She put me on hold and asked around, but I guess no one confessed to calling me. Anyway, I just let her know it wasn't her fault, but we would be finding another pediatric dentist for our kiddos since I felt I was being jerked around by the office. Sad that they lost our business. This was supposed to be an initial appointment and we would've used them until our kiddos were grown. They came highly recommended, but I'm extremely disappointed with the service. So unprofessional to call someone day of cancelling an appointment so they can go home early and then not cancel the appointment after all and ask where I am when I've already rearranged my schedule twice.

We have used this practice for 2 of my younger kids. The first time was great, general check up,…read morex-rays, cleaning. They both needed dental work. After excessive "are you scared" questioning by the tech and staff the kids decided the dentist must have something to be scared of. Work needed to be done so we decided to go the route of sedation and scheduled that. Fast forward a few months and my daughter ends up with an abscess, risk of procedure, we get it. We called for the entire day and never got through or a call back, had to go to her PCP for treatment. The next day this office called us to schedule a visit a week later. We go in for the visit and get xrays, the tech this day was sweet, but did end up accidentally stabbing the xray plate into my daughters gum, she cried a little because it hurt but didn't get worked up. She was great through the visit, but they did not schedule the time for the extraction and questioned who would prescribe us antibiotics. They worked us in the next day for the extraction. They started in with the excessive "are you scared" questioning again (same dentist she saw the very first time) told her dad she was "very emotional and worked up the day before", remember the ouch with the xray? Had her on nitrous for about 10 minutes without monitoring, told her dad they "would have given us options for sedation at her appt the day before" (the only option given was the nitrous) then told us they don't recommend sedation more than 1 time in a year because it isn't safe. All the while my daughter is laying there on nitrous really confused why no work is being done. She is 9, even home now she has no idea why they didn't do anything today. While I appreciate the concern for her experience, we have to worry about the tooth abscessing again. They spent more time trying to convince her to be scared than treating her. So, if you need a fun place for a cleaning this is your spot. If you need any dental procedures done find a place with a team who won't encourage fear to avoid doing it.

My entire family has been going to Innovative Dental for almost 2 years now, and they are…read moreoutstanding! Their facility has the latest technologies (digital x-rays, cleaning equipment, crowns made on-site), all their doctors are extremely knowledgeable about the latest dental technologies, and the entire staff always shows how much they care with every interaction. They are even YouTube content producers (check out their channel: InnovativeDentalofSpringfield) where you can see their doctors discuss their philosophy on various dental issues: cleanings, crowns, root canals, dental anxiety, and even how to finance it all, . When I initially moved to the area, I needed to get either a bridge or implant for a couple back molars that had been extracted a year earlier. Dr. Olson went over some different options, gave me the pros/cons of each, and provided a very cost-effective option for me with no pressure to go with one option over the others. Since then, one of my kids needed to get an (orthodontic) expander, and another now has braces. They both love going to the dentist/orthodontist since it's a great experience for kids too: They have some fun activities for the kids while they're waiting for their appointment.
