Me and my sister had a huge issue with harassment where one of the employees was talking about wanting my sister to be dead. We had witnesses and recorded evidence. We took it to corporate and they did nothing about after getting a handful of written statements. My sister ended up quitting because this person would have their friends come in and harass her while she was just trying to work her 2.5 hour shifts. I stayed around because I needed money for college and my everyday expenses. Towards the end of my experience I was starting to notice many of my coworkers were having horrible nights with getting bullied by their own night manager. 3 girls reported it and the upper management doesn't believe them. That same night manager is the one who just walks around at night and tells everyone to do their jobs but won't help around, they are a lazy manager and shouldn't even be one anymore, they have made their coworkers cry multiple nights and I have witnessed all of it. In the beginning we were told if we see or notice anything that is considered bullying or harassment that we need report it and it will be handled. Not at this store. Let's not forget about during the day, let's say you closed produce and you missed just a couple of items that needed filled a little. You won't hear the end of it from the openers. Did you want to drink water while you're checking out and can't exactly walk away because we're having a steady day? Don't worry they will yell at you for that too. Let's not forget about how much people will say behind your back there, no one is safe even if you keep to yourself. This place has gone downhill and I am not afraid to speak up about this. I did make a review before this one and one of the night managers saw it and showed it to the uppers. I was informed I was called a "shitty worker" which proves my point even more. This place is a toxic work environment and I do not recommend working here unless you want to deal with all of this. Don't get me wrong there are SOME people there who are amazing, but not all.
