Barbara, the host, lives right next door, and she's super attentive - there's a whole bunch of friendly animals including cats, a dog named Lassie, a donkey, chickens (from which you can gather your morning eggs), and sheep. There's a walking trail right next to it that leads to the lake and the old Ballovey cemetery. It's got enough beds to sleep 5, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a full kitchen, and it's great for kids, with toys, stuffies, and a reading nook. Highly recommended!

It was piled high with sautéed onions and served with a tomato relish, side salad and French fries. Breakfast was buffet style and if you wanted a full Irish Breakfast you could assemble all of the necessary components.
