I've rented a property that Corporate Group managed for 7 years with NO complaints. I decided to move due to needing more space. I left the property in excellent conditions. I agreed to a Courtesy Move Out Inspection after I had completely move out. The maintenance technician was really nice and informative. I was told that I would receive a copy of the courtesy move out inspection in the mail. I have yet to receive a copy. Good thing I took a picture of the courtesy move out inspection. I recommend everyone do the same. Fast forward to today. I received the final move out inspection via the mail. I am being charged for stuff that was marked okay during the courtesy move out inspection. For example, I'm being charged to replace a set of blinds. All of the blinds were marked okay. The final move out inspection doesn't even include which room needs the blinds replaced. Just a charge for them. The same for the other bogus charges. If I caused damage to the property. I would have no problem paying for the damages. This is another story of a landlord/management company not wanting to return a tenant's deposit.

Went to ask about my deposit and and Corporate stated I had to get the carpets professionally cleaned or supply them with a receipt showing I got the carpets professionally or I would be charged $176.50. They stated the carpets would be cleaned if I supplied a receipt or not. Left the place in great condition and its really sad that this company is taking advantage of people in these troubled times.
