I reported the issue to the property management company multiple times, but no effective action was taken. The noise was so severe on several occasions that I had to call the police just to get it to stop. In a residential area, this level of disruption is unacceptable, and management's failure to enforce basic quiet standards has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company.

I do not think that this company can be trusted. Avenue's site states: "Low Fee Guarantee - We…read morematch any competing proposal fee for comparable service. We won't be beat on fees." Avenue does not keep its word. I was in talks with Avenue, as I was considering using them as property manager for my rental. Per the request of the Avenue employee I was speaking with, I sent him a leasing agreement I had with a competing property management company. I did this to see if Avenue would actually stand by their word and make good on their "low fee guarantee." After talking with me on the phone about it, the Avenue employee actually agreed with me that my lease with this other company was an "apples to apples" comparison with their own. However, he said that they would charge me more than the other company. In other words, they would not honor their own guarantee. They do not keep their word. Also, there are multiple fake positive reviews of this company. I'm 99% sure that some of these fake reviews were posted by their employees. I would advise staying away from this company.

I have observed her, on multiple occasions, being rude, pushy, unprofessional, lying (to favor herself, at times even against her own staff), ageist, sexist, and racist. I have witnessed her making remarks that are discriminating against my coworkers before, for age and color of their skin. The staff and maintenance team are nice and I've had no issues there. They are actually pretty receptive and kind. The issue is Amy, and since she's the owner, who rules with an iron fist, everyone looks at her for answers and she has all final says. Therefore, even if you get a positive staff member at first- if Amy comes into it and is cranky, annoyed, or just doesn't like you - watch out. My impression is this company does okay in St. Louis because St. Louis doesn't have a big enough market, so people will take what they can get. The property's are "good enough"- although please note, Helix will cut corners on cost whenever possible. Rob and his entire staff went far beyond what was required to sell the house; to include recommending specific upgrades to modernize the house fixtures for sale (he even texted photos of specific model light fixtures that would help the resale value), coordinating schedules with various contractors to allow them access to the home, and just checking on the property on a nearly daily basis. The previous owner was a smoker, and Rob worked tirelessly to eradicate the stubborn smell of cigar smoke so that the house would be appealing to non-smokers. After several months of work, we had a house that looked, felt and smelled like new construction, and recently sold to become a home for a new family for a good price. When I was initially looking for a realtor, I interviewed several in the area that were recommended online and by reputation within the realtor community. After selecting Rob, another realtor that I had interviewed but did not select asked me why I did not select her.
