Dr. Paradez is great! My gastroenterologist retired and I had a question. My husband had come here…read moreand really liked and trusted Dr. Paradez; his own primary care doctor says he comes here. I got a telehealth appt for him to look at my records - and he said it was clear why my doctor had made the recommendation she did (even if in other circumstances, people normally need to come in for a colonoscopy). Great that he explained it so well and saved me having to get a procedure! And my husband had a very easy experience here with his. Great office & I'll be back in a few years when I actually need to come in!

I appreciate the issue being addressed so quickly and wanted to update my note accordingly. Thank you! ---------------------------------- This review is not for Dr Paredez, who is honestly a wonderful doctor - but for his office. It is literally impossible to get in touch with anyone there. I've tried calling multiple times throughout the day, waited on hold for 15+ minutes only for someone to pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I've tried leaving a message both on the phone and on their site - no response most of the time, occasionally a call back (roughly 1 out of 5-6 times). I was told the office would contact me to schedule labs but of course, nobody did, so now I am just waiting indefinitely. I rarely post Yelp reviews, but am so frustrated with the quality of care here that I have to look for alternatives and hope that enough such reviews will get the attention of the doctor and perhaps something will change eventually. I plan to look for alternate care- not because of the doctor (who is, again, wonderful) but because there is just no way to ever get in touch with anyone in this office.

I had one virtual visit with this practice almost 1.5 years ago. I submitted payment immediately…read more Since then, I have received a bill numerous times. Each time, I call the office and speak to someone explaining that I already paid. Each time, they say they were in the middle of switching billing providers so my invoice got mixed up in the shuffle. I have emailed them my receipt as proof of payment, then they promise they will close out my account. Still, the invoices keep coming. I talk to someone new each time who says they have no record of my previous calls. I think I even paid again just to end the madness since I couldn't find my former receipt. Today I receive another invoice... again. I call the office, their voicemail phone system said to call a different number to speak to billing. I call that number which says "What's your name, and Google Voice will try to connect you." No mention of a GI office which seems strange. I say my name, I'm connected to someone who said "Hello?" with a dog barking in the background. Again, no mention of a GI office. I ask if this is the GI office. She says yes and seems annoyed that I'm confused. I go through the whole spiel again explaining why I'm calling. She says she has no record that I've ever called. I say that's not my issue, I have called the office and their billing department numerous times, I have a receipt I can send, and that I'm very frustrated. She responds "it's going to be your problem if I don't have proof you paid." Are you kidding? I again offer to send her my receipt which she refuses. Instead, she says she's going to call the office. So still nothing is settled. This office is incredibly disorganized!!

This review is for my wife who is far too kind to ever give less than a stellar review. First off,…read moresitting in the lobby, it came across to me as a scope factory. I forget how many individuals they scope in a day, but it seemed like quite a lot. Bless her heart, my wife has vented to me a number of times that after the procedure, the doctor did not wait for her to come near enough out of her anesthesia to discuss the results. He did not allow me or anyone to be with her to hear his comments. He did not address the big issues for which she was scoped - critical conditions he was to observe and treat/or not treat - depending upon what he observed during the procedure. He came across to her as curt and rude, impatient, perturbed that she had asked him a question trying to get the key results - which he did not answer. He spoke briefly to her and was gone. She had to schedule AND PAY FOR a follow-up visit to hear the results for the issues for which she was being scoped and biopsied for in the first place - including whether her symptoms were treated, if so how so, and the biopsy results. To have to pay for a follow up appointment is unheard of for these procedures. So virtually no post proceedure follow through, then no biopsy results call, no info, no nada. Cept you take the time and money to come in for a follow-up appointment for them to get more of your money. Adding insult to injury, they keep coming up with new significant charges months and months after the procedure and follow-up appointment, billing for additional fees. We wish you the best with them.
