However, under the direction of Interim Principal Peter Settelmayer, our school has flourished over the past 2 academic years. He is an open-book and very interactive with the families and his staff. Nothing about him comes across as condescending or judgmental. If I knew of any parents in the area of this SE Atlanta school, I'd definitely reassure them: IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO BE!

When you complain Mrs Bragg quickly becomes rude and dismissive. They won't honor simple requests like classroom changes or any other suggestions, regardless of the situation. The counselors shouldn't counsel a trash can, definitely not a child. Mrs Lauchlan is pretty good at accomplishing nothing. Mr Lawrence isn't certified and he has the maturity level of a 6th grader. Bottom line: Look at the test scores compared to other private schools. The kids complain about the lunch. The co-curricular and athletic options are good. Your kid will be bullied. Your kids will receive a public school education with perks. Don't waste your money.

The Waldorf School has been a magical experience for our daughter, especially during such uncertain…read moretimes. The quality of teachers and administration is beyond amazing. The community is open-hearted and the education and social setting has allowed our daughter to transform her anxiety into confidence and joy. Simply put, she LOVES school and begs me to let her stay as long as possible in aftercare. The way the administration has reinvented in-person learning during the pandemic is nothing short of inspirational. The outdoor classrooms are located on 6-acre, wooded campus that is buzzing with excitement, music and laughter. As an adult what I've discovered in my career (and life) is that I'm happiest during moments of being creative. This being said, the most significant thing I've witnessed in our daughter's journey at Waldorf is a blossoming of her inherent creativity which translates into more moments of happiness.
