Surgery was denied due to that report. Had a second MRI Friday preformed in house at TOC. What did they find? A full thickness TFCC tear. Not sure how y'all missed that one. My wife (with cancer in chemo) was septic and spent over 12 hours in ER, over 5 of those no one even helped her. To be clear my wife has been a pediatric oncology nurse for 29 years, the lack of protocols and cleanliness is disturbing.

I had day surgery 3 days later and for the first time in 4 months was pain free immediately. I had never had such efficient service from any healthcare entity in the past. Dr. Miller was amazing - very professional, yet very concerned. He really listened to the history of my 4 month odyssey and frustration, and went above and beyond to get me relief as soon as possible. His diagnosis was right on target. I have my life back. Additionally, the staff at TN Brain and Spine were awesome-efficient, friendly and caring! Whoever was working the front desk at the Sutherland Ave. location in Knoxville cannot read cursive…read morehandwriting and was very rude to myself and many other patients today. I have gone there before with the same doctor's handwritten orders with zero issues when other people were working the front desk. Even after settling that, she kept pushing our file to the back of the stack. After several people with appointments an hour after ours were seen, we just left. She was extremely rude to other patients as well while we were sitting there waiting. Only once we got up to leave did she tell the tech to send us back. Other staff members have been great in the past, but the lady who worked the front desk the afternoon of June 4th is completely incompetent and rude to patients.
