The staff didn't just say hello and leave it at that -- they asked what I was looking for, walked me over to the hats, and made sure I found exactly what I wanted. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole visit easy. What I like about this location is how welcoming it feels. Even if you are not there to buy a bike, the staff treat you with the same level of attention and respect. The store itself is clean, well organized, and has a good selection of gear. You can tell they take pride in both the products and the customer experience. I walked out with the hat I needed and a really positive impression. Dropped 2022 CRF 450R off for valve adjustment, oil change, spoke tighten, exhaust gasket replace,…read moresee if oil around front sprocket residue from chain line or if the case is leaking, and an inspection to go over and see if it needs anything else. At drop off all this was discussed and talked about if it is going to be over $1500 give me a call, if not go ahead and fix it. I pick the bike up today (two weeks later). Pay the $1k + bill, they bring the bike out. I start looking it over. Looks like the valves were adjusted. But can't tell if the gasket is leaking or not bc there is fuel or something dripping from the bottom of the fuel tank onto the top of the engine. Look at the engine oil, looks good. Inspect the exhaust, looks like gasket was replaced, muffler is a little loose but nothing I can't tighten. Look at front spokes, a few seemed a little loose but better than they were. Back spokes were tightened but one was broken and not fixed or anything. Front sprocket was not cleaned or any signs of inspection done. Plastics were a little loose. But nothing I can't tighten. Start the bike, which it didn't start when I dropped it off, so the valves were done. Still can't tell if it is leaking bc what I assume is fuel leak from the tank or connection. Let it run while I strap it down, start to hear a little tap or slap in the top end. Shop manager claims they will honor their work if anything goes wrong. Hopefully it is fine. My personal experience was not good with this mechanic shop. I don't feel like I should have to go home and work on what I thought I just paid a shop to do.

Anyway, the service staff rushed it into the service schedule, and while it wasn't good news at least we didn't have to wait a loon time for it. Every member of the staff at SMH-D was pleasant and easy to be around, including manager Sabrina, staff person Kristin, and most notably Ainsley on the sales floor, she's a riot. The following review is for ordering and buying a 2023 Indian Scout Bobber Icon Indy Red over the…read morephone no less: The reason for calling this dealership from the start was their website stated they had in stock a 2022 Scout Bobber Icon Indy Red....So I called to inquire and to purchase that motorcycle. When I called a nice salesperson names Travis took my call. He was really polite and explained to me that unfortunately they no longer had the bike... Guess their crack webmaster was in hiatus, which I will give the benefit of the doubt... even though it took me 2 weeks to finally pull the trigger. Since Travis was so polite and gives you the feeling that no matter what, he will take care of whatever you need... With that, even though the dealership is over 340 miles from my house... I placed an order with Travis, and I felt good about the purchase. I was then sent to "finance" to take the down payment... which for what other dealers were charging was about 500... well not here, minimum of 1k down.... Well, I called back a week and a half before my bike was scheduled to ship to pay another 3k down... that is when the "finance" guy told me that it is against the owner's policy to allow you to buy a bike with a credit card.... Even though the 2k I paid already was on a CC... so I really didn't understand that policy, as it is a purchase, right???? To alleviate any hassle when I went to pick up the bike, I just paid with a debit card. (Edit: Found the reason after I picked up the bike. Apparently, someone ripped the owner off using a credit card a year or so ago.) Finally, after 3 months and 1 day the bike had arrived at the dealership... Travis texted to let me know the good news.... Happy was an understatement, Travis said it would be ready by Saturday to pick up. The day of pickup I had my daughter ride up with me, I mean 9-ish hours on the road for the day would get a bit tiring lol. We got to the dealer around noon and Travis was with another customer, so we had time to look over the bike... It took me a bit off guard that the bike was already on the floor. I know you get a picture with the bike you buy on the day you buy it, but it had been on the floor before that day as I was told there was a lot of interest in the color. Since Travis was with another customer one of the other guys came over to go over the bike. After we went over the bike I showed where it had light scratches on the rear fender in 2 places. They were able to get the scratches polished out, but the simple fact a brand-new motorcycle that you had special ordered was on the floor for other customers to "sit" on. I say that as I have no idea how the scratches got on there, but it was from someone putting a leg over... and those scratches are the reason this place gets a 4-star review instead of a 5 star. To break it down, Travis is the reason this place gets the remaining stars. With his genuine care/concern for your interests and purchases set this place apart. I mean I drove all this way because of 1 salesperson... if that does not speak volumes, I don't know what does... If you are in the market for a good Indian/triumph, hit Travis up... I don't think you will be disappointed.

What an absolute stellar experience doing business with PJ!…read more Me and my friend flew in from Hawai'i to enjoy the Tail of the Dragon and decided to go through PJ because they offered sports bikes while other rental places did not. He corresponded with us promptly months in advance, making sure all our questions were answered and texted us a few days prior to our pick-up date to confirm everything. We had a minor hick-up finding the place, but rest-assured, we arrived after calling PJ and picked up our bikes: a Triumph Street Triple R and Suzuki GSX-R600. After talking and getting to know us as drivers, as well as show us around the shop, we signed the necessary waivers and off we drove down to the Tail. I must be honest, and this is by no means a deterrent to using this company as a rental option, but the trip did have a few hiccups. After our first day riding the Tail and staying at our lodging, the following day saw my GSX go down (electronically, not physically) and would not throttle. I contacted PJ, who was extremely apologetic and very quick to address the situation and drove the hour or so drive to personally drop off a Triumph Daytona 675 and pick up the GSX. Talk about taking care of your clients! I enjoyed the majority of my remaining day on the Daytona (riding to Franklin and back). Unfortunately (but somewhat luckily), about 10 minutes away from the lodging, the Daytona's electronics shut off all of a sudden. After finding my way back to the lodging, we contacted PJ who was, once again, in huge disbelief and very apologetic. I must note that the time the Daytona went down was around nightfall and PJ asked me again to choose another bike and he drove back down again to drop of my newly-chosen FZ09, and pick up his Triumph. Needless to say, I was not upset in the slightest as PJ was genuinely remorseful and went out of his way to remedy the situation. The following day was spent enjoying the FZ09 on the Skyway without a single hiccup. After our 3-day rental, it was time to return the bikes. My friend's Triumph had zero issues and the FZ09 had none either. Upon returning the bikes, PJ apologized once more for what had happened and explained what had happened to the other bikes. No harm, no foul as PJ was extremely polite and professional throughout our entire time dealing with him and I could not be any happier with the service. PJ is an avid rider himself and knows the roads around the area and is more than knowledgeable to give you suggestions to enhance your time renting the bikes! Routes, restaurants, you name it - ask away! Oh and a side bonus, he has a nice family of Great Danes who have loud voices but LOVE to play and be petted! Fear not using this company to rent your bikes. I was blown away by the exceptional service and really, it felt like I was just borrowing a bike from my own uncle. I cannot rave enough on how happy I was with everything and I WILL be back to rent from him again on a return trip!
