My roommate and I went shopping here and he bought his first couch for our apartment, and the customer service we recieved was exceptional. Every single person working is kind and thoughtful and really goes out of their way to help. The delivery was incredible too, the movers even stopped to chat with my friend's grandma! She was taken aback at how kind and professional they were and gives her full recommendation; Furniture Exchange is the best and they care about their customers. Can't recommend any place more

My wife has been talking about wanting a makeover for her bathroom (technically it's ours, but let's get real!) I thought I would stop in and see what they might have. Turns out this place designs kitchens and baths and actually had a few rooms set up to help those who need to see real spaces to get a feel for them. Although I think our bath is limited without major construction challenges, I will keep this place in mind since it is licensed and insured and the displays looked appealing. But what really occupied my time here was checking out their extensive supply of Big Green Eggs. Seriously, where I live, it takes less time to get to Ellettsville than it does to get to Sullivan's Hardware on the northeast side (and less traffic too!) One of the two owners of the business came out to greet me when I entered and we started chatting about these state of the art grilling stations. My friend swears by his egg, so I decided to check out what makes them different. Turns out the owner I dealt with has been competitively grilling for a long time and I was impressed that he took time to answer many questions, steer me towards some You Tube videos for ideas, and even mentioned Sullivan's annual cooking competition as a place to buy lightly used equipment at a nice savings to get started. He was SO Helpful! Although I didn't buy one on my visit, I would have no qualms about returning here when I decide to pull the trigger on a purchase. (These aren't cheap grills since they are molded ceramic containers and can weigh hundreds of pounds.) From the business's website and Facebook page, they do encourage making an appointment if you wish to talk design for your kitchen and/or bath makeover. Poor quality control coming out of Sunleaves, both containers was sealed. No wonder this business went broke before! never again, sticking with brand names next time

The ones at Aqua Pro were slightly more expensive than some we saw, but were also of higher quality; we wanted a projected ten year hot tub with low operating costs over that period. Three years ago, we bought it. It wasn't cheap. It has to be installed into a very tight spot. They did it. We had no trouble with it at all, indeed its operating costs were almost half of the ancient spa it replaced. Then, this week, we had it moved a block away to a new place. Extracting it was difficult because of the tight spot. It took a bit of effort, but they did it without any problem, hauling it and installing it at its new location. The price wasn't cheap, but unlike others here (and I'm not discounting other Yelper problems, only documenting my success), we've had good service in our application, which is the hot tub, its reliability, and their moving service. Our experiences were good. It's not the low cost alternative and their premium hot tub has worked without problem in both locations with far lower power consumption and high reliability. They're not cheap but they did the job correctly and have good communications.

The other half of the building looked to be a workshop for building the furniture. Everything was fine until I asked the question, "I am looking for a butcher block top for my kitchen island." The answer was "Well. Do you need the island too?" I told her that I just needed the top. "No we don't have a top. Don't really know where to get one", she said. It seemed to me that they wanted to make the whole island and would have gladly found a butcher block top for it. I went into the store because it's not a chain store and they made furniture. I would not have minded paying a little more to support a local business. Well, off to the next store.
