Prescheduled appointment for Justin Thompson to come by at 8am this Monday to service a whole house fan. After a no-show at the expected time, I gave it 45-50 min then gave him a call. He claimed he didn't know he had an appointment and once I pointed out our text string, was apologetic, made some excuses and offered to come by the next day or some other time. He claimed that he uses his text messages to determine his schedule. Running a business requires one to have a methodical way of ensuring one knows what one's schedule is day for day and if something changes, communicate with the customer. Like maybe the calendar app...? We didn't feel like waiting another day for someone already proven to be undependable was worth it. If you decide to schedule his services, you may need to call and confirm even if it means calling on a weekend. I can't speak to the quality nor value of his work as we decided against giving him another shot. read more

Laundry room remodel and under $20k bid. Really looked forward to working with Justin and had a great impression right off the bat. That was short lived with one issue after another, 5 day job turned into 3 weeks. Kept requesting more money, delayed work, poor finish/quality. Threatened 65 year old widow he would "burn the deck down" if he didn't get his money because we wanted items completed that were part of the bid. Keep in mind this is after a 70% payment before half the work was done and then left the job incomplete without replacing the door, missing material, and lots of finish work still to be done. There were numerous items discussed in the bid that were just abandoned and refused to complete. Too many problems to list. In the end he was paid to just be done and not return. I would not recommend this company for home renovations, very unreliable and combative. read more
