Consultations are provided at no cost. Clients receive clear explanations, access to multiple insurance carriers, and year-round support after enrollment. Assistance is available in person by appointment, over the phone, or virtually for Medicare beneficiaries throughout Missouri and Illinois.

Thompson Medicare Brokerage was founded in 2021 with a simple goal: to give Medicare beneficiaries a trusted place to receive clear, honest, and personalized guidance.
The brokerage was created after recognizing how overwhelming Medicare can become, especially when people are trying to compare plans, understand enrollment rules, confirm provider networks, or solve problems involving prescriptions and financial assistance.
Since opening, Thompson Medicare Brokerage has continued to grow through referrals, local relationships, and a commitment to helping clients long after their initial enrollment. The business serves communities throughout Missouri and Illinois, with local offices in Springfield and Bucyrus, Missouri.
Meet the Business Owner: Benjamin T.
Benjamin Thompson is the founder and owner of Thompson Medicare Brokerage. He is a licensed Medicare insurance broker who focuses on education, problem-solving, and long-term client support rather than high-pressure sales.
Benjamin takes the time to understand each client’s doctors, prescriptions, healthcare needs, financial situation, and personal preferences before discussing coverage options. He believes people should understand not only which plan they are choosing, but also how that coverage works and what to expect throughout the year.
His goal is to make Medicare less confusing and to remain available when clients have questions, experience coverage problems, or need to review their options in the future.
