Not only is this style chip only used in half of a model year of the Fit but it's also not commonly used in general even by Honda. Most don't even keep it on hand. I'm so lucky Austin did have those in stock. He came and had the whole ordeal of programming it done within 10 minutes. He claimed that the "lock was old and loose". He didn't try a bump key or anything. He ended up getting a huge pair of pliers and snapping my door knob off. He still charged me over $100 bucks for a job he didn't complete. Don't use him. Do your research ahead of time and find a good locksmith.

He then said that since he was repairing a lock rather than installing a new one there was no guarantee. He certainly never disclosed this prior to the problem or I would not have paid this huge amount.
