Front 9 par 5

Visiting my parents in Colorado and had the pleasure of playing Thorncreek. Rented a set of new TaylorMade irons and the M6 driver for $30. Worth it playing on such a fun course. This course is challenging. Fast greens with lots of slope. Playing from the "2" tees was perfect for a high 70s/low 80s golfer. Ended up shooting 86 with one only birdie and missed almost all my birdie putts. Feels fine having never played this course/not my own clubs. Par 5s are all long but played reachable with the wind on two of the four. Lots of space to miss on some holes but accuracy is rewarded. Carts had GPS which was huge having not played in altitude very often. Tee times were every 10 minutes which seemed fine. We only waited on a handful of shots on the back 9. Overall, loved the course. Price $50+ seems about right for a course well so maintained. Couple of dry patches here and there on a couple holes but 98% of the course is perfect. Would love to play it again next time I visit.

#10 green.

The new renovations are awesome! Great range and better course. Challenging but not impossible.

Not the course I would want for a home course, but definitely worth checking out.

The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure that everything is explained and you are set up to have a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. TL:DR - an awesome option for a night out with built in activities

We were in town to visit the DU campus, and I was thinking about hitting a round of golf. After…read moresome digging, I found Harvard Gulch. I hadn't played a pitch and putt in a long, long time, and with barely any equipment required to play, this was definitely worth a visit. Only $1 per club rental, we each chose 1 club and 1 putter. Lots to choose from, so it took us some time to choose carefully. The 1 club + putter challenge we had made for a real fun round of golf, added a layer of thinking to a fun round. The golf was great. Super casual. We came mid day on a weekday, so it was not busy. We were allowed to bring some beverages (went to nearby Denver Brew Co), and had a lot of fun. Greens are surprisingly fast, especially downhill. Bunkers had legit sand, and there is even the threat of water. We bought a 6 pack of balls in the pro shop cuz they were only $5 (only needed one each), and bought a divot repair tool ($1) because we were planning on raining golf balls on all the greens. Lol. We had so much fun, we played a second 9. Joined up this time with a third, and he was a super fun hang. Good golfer too. All tee shots are off mats, which is expected. Wasn't a problem for us. It wasn't super busy, but pitch and putt is going to attract all manner of skill levels. We had a lot of time to kill, so we were prepared to wait and chill at each hole (back in the day I'd go to places where we could be 10-15 people deep at each tee box), but it moved fast today. That said, when we were leaving, we saw a group of 4 and 5, and most looked like beginners. I have another day in Denver, we may try and play another round. If not during this trip, then for sure the next time I come. Great fun!

Love this little par 3 course. It's definitely a short chip and put course. They are super chill at…read morethe club house and it's pretty easy to get a tee time and go when ever you want. Great for an after work chip and putt with some beers to relax. They don't sell beers there but they allow you to bring drinks with you. It's also not bad to walk, so highly recommend making it fun with friends playing with just 3 clubs and a putter.
