At pickup, the hood wouldn't open, despite their earlier promise to fix it. They charged a certification fee. Within a week, a "drive train malfunction" warning appeared. They kept the car for repairs from September 15th to the 19th. Though claimed they fixed the hood, they wouldn't specify what caused the drivetrain issue but assured its resolution. Four days later, the malfunction warning returned. Despite my concerns, the staff redirected me to their mechanic and hinted at retaliation when I expressed doubts about his honesty. All I want is a proper repair before my warranty ends and an independent inspection The Mechanic informed me that Mortoland never fixed the Hood because the cable they claimed to have replaced was not. Be careful with this place.

I do not know anything really about cars so any time they told me my car had an issue and something needed to be replaced I would do it as i assumed they knew what they were talking about and would be honest. This is NOT the case. They ripped me off every chance they got. Unfortunately I only found out after it was too late and i had already spend thousands of dollars with them. The last time i went there they told me i had an issue with one part of my car and a few bolts or rods were missing and i should get it replaced. For what ever reason this time i took my car to get a second opinion, and the place i went to for the second opinion told me that there was no issue with the car and nothing was wrong, missing or needed to be replaced. This is when I realized that my car probably never had the issues mazda would always call me about when i took my car for a general service. DO NOT go here as they will rip you off, and lie right to your face.

It involved a…read morebad battery which the dealer blamed on my driving habits, even though I had a CAA document testifying that the power source was bad and needed to be replaced. After the ninth instance of it quitting and needing a recharge, I finally went to get it replaced at the dealer. To my relief and great gratitude, they not only replaced it for free as part of the warranty, but rushed to get to it despite having people in front of me because I had a sick dog I needed to get home to. That kindness, by a service advisor named Paul Maliakal, was more appreciated than he will ever know. The car was brought in early and I was out of there within half an hour. This still isn't my favourite car and I wish I hadn't bought it, because it's given me so many problems and there are features (especially the weird radio system!) that I dislike. But the service I received that day helped make up for a lot and so it's only fair I issue this updated review. I appreciate Mazda of Toronto's service and the decency and competence of this employee. I hope everyone who goes there has the pleasure of running into him and having him handle their concerns.

I was originally told that the deposit was fully refundable ($2500). when I spoke to the finance guy Raffie about getting my deposit back he told me to come in between 12-4pm with my credit card to get my refund, once I arrived he walked me into his office and told me to wait one minute.The floor manager Khaled walked in and stated I that He had decided to not give me my refund. Either I pick a car from them or lose my deposit. I told him I was told multiple times that it was fully refundable and had 2 whitenesses with me. He simply didn't care and told me to report them to OMVIC he had a smirk on his face. He was not reasonable at all and was forcing me to buy another car or lose my $2500.

    Im not sure how this place got so many 5 stars reviews, but my experience is far from that 5 stars…read morestandard. I happened to be shopping for a used car and this place was the first one i visited, everything was going smoothly until I tell the guy i need time to think about the price, i wasnt even haggling about it, all i said was "i need time to think about it, it's my first car so". He immediately ripped off the paper with my info on it and swear if I comeback tomorrow he will sell it to me 150$ higher than the marked price. Im sure you find it hard to believe but it actually happened. I'm not sure this was his sale tactic or he's treating me based on my race. Nonetheless, this is not how you treat your customer. His name was Sam Ahmadi. And here's another rip off thing: they won't let you test drive the car until you bought it. Take your money somewhere else if you don't want to get treated like garbage.

I say this because I had the same experience as them. I went there to look for a car I saw online. I told the guy I am paying cash and we sat down in his office. He never told me his name, but he was a middle aged Punjabi guy. The car was around $33,000. I was willing to buy it the same day except he told me my payments will be about $505 a month. I asked why he said because of the extended warranty which I wasn't even aware of. I asked him to take that off and I don't need it to which he responded to " OH NO THIS IS MANDATORY AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT. MINIMUM 1 YEAR AT LEAST FOR $3000 AS THIS IS COMPANY POLICY" I have never heard of a company police where you have to take extended warranty. I said I don't want it rather just buy the car he flat out told me no I have to take it or he cant sell me the car. So I walked out and said thank you. I later called to speak to the manager but one of the financial advisors answered so I asked him if its the company policy to buy extended warranty and he said no its optional so I explained what happened earlier and asked to talk to the manager and he said no the manager is gone they are closed but it was 30 min before closing and he just went quiet when I told him that. He then told me he works in finance and is not sure about what the policies are and hung up. Now with that being said it has happened to a lot of other people, there is no way these guys have such high reviews unless they are friends or ppl they may have paid to say these things. To be honest I would never waste my money or time at a place where the salesperson is ready to lie and scam you and when you call to complain they don't take the complain but as for your info to call you back.
