Desmond Thornton's service was exceptional, far exceeded my expectations. I called his service and Desmond answered himself. He was able to set up an inspection within the 5 day limit I had and was very accommodating when I called to change to an earlier date. Desmond was meticulous in his inspection. As an example, at the end of the inspection, I showed Desmond that the paper pad he had placed under one of the sinks was wetter than when I first looked at it. The other inspectors I have used would have said, "I've already covered that in my report". Instead, Desmond changed, on the spot, his finished report to show this wetter pad. Desmond answered every question I had in language I could understand. Desmond was very professional, friendly and put me at ease in his manner. Not only was he able to accommodate me the very next day, but based on the results of the Inspection Mr. Thornton did I was able to find out the home I was about to purchase would be a major health issue. With his thorough inspection he found that the home had mold and rotted wood underneath the home. I would never have know if I had not chose Thornton Home Inspections. Desmond did a great job inspecting the home we purchased. We were able to negotiate the cost due to some duct repairs that we would have never known were there had he not discovered them.
