First, Ken had us sign a contract that awarded him 40% of gross recovery which is about 7-10% higher than the industry average (that should have been the first warning sign). After signing his contract, Ken did not put any time or effort into our case and dropped the ball at every turn. We had several meetings in his office where he and his assistant were not even prepared to tell us where our case was and fumbled through papers time and time again. Fortunately, my wife and I keep great records and notes because we eventually had to work on our own case and become our own advocates. We had to negotiate on our own behalf the cost of treatments and medical bills even though Ken said they would handle that (it even states that in his contract). Ken and Piedmont Injury Law still took 40% of what was awarded! Then, on top of everything else, it took Ken 6 MONTHS after he received payment (settlement) from our insurance to pay us. In no way, shape or form can I recommend Ken Crosson to anyone!!!
