A hose, a warm place to get cleaned up and even a few tools/things we needed to recover. 5+ hours later, after the owner came and checked on us so many times, we were back on the road. Stop in! Attached to the local Waffle House, the people watching as you pump gas is fun and the staff when you run in for a cup of coffee or a snack for the road is always friendly. My favorite main-drag La Grange gas & go place. If you're stopping through on your way to Cincy do me a favor and pass by that other, newer (and generally more expensive) stop on the other side of the street. Visit the underdog. For over 3 months I have been telling them the receipt printers on the pumps do not work. The whole…read morereason to pay at the pump is to get in and out quickly. Having to go in and wait in line defeats the purpose and makes me late for work. It's probably not even broken and just out of paper. Not ever coming back unless it's an emergency. This station won't last with problems like this. Update. Went buy again receipt printed but pump handle broken and had to stand in the cold and pump by hand. Wish there was a better station out here. --- well three months later and decided to come back here to get gas because it's the only place in Crestwood. Handle on pump number six is still broken and has been for almost 6 months and guess what? No receipt paper again had to go inside. big surprise. I repeatedly inform staff of these problems and nothing ever gets fixed obviously they don't care. Thorton's please come open up a gas station in Crestwood!!! HORRIBLE
