One thing I really liked was the self checkout. It makes things a lot quicker when you're just grabbing a few things and want to get back on the road without waiting in line. The store was also easy to get in and out of, which is always a plus when you're making a quick stop. Overall, this is a solid Thorntons location. Clean store, good selection, convenient self checkout, and a quick and easy stop. I'd definitely stop here again when I'm in the area.

This was due to States Donuts being closed and I wanted to get my weekly donut fix in. Still, it's just a gas station with their own generic donuts, so I can't really say much. What I have to say is that if you wante to get a quick donut fix, that this definitely would do it. While not spectacular, the donuts I got (a glazed, blueberry cake, maple glazed, and cookies n cream) were decent enough to pick up on a whim. I will admit that the oreo topping on top of the cookies n cream was super soft and definitely not close to fresh. Maple had a decent generic flavor and the donuts were soft. I still prefer to go to the local chains, but this still worked out well enough!

Having to go in and wait in line defeats the purpose and makes me late for work. It's probably not even broken and just out of paper. Not ever coming back unless it's an emergency. This station won't last with problems like this. Update. Went buy again receipt printed but pump handle broken and had to stand in the cold and pump by hand. Wish there was a better station out here. --- well three months later and decided to come back here to get gas because it's the only place in Crestwood. Handle on pump number six is still broken and has been for almost 6 months and guess what? No receipt paper again had to go inside. big surprise. I came with the proper headlight, had auto zone look in the system down to the trim package. I Told Jennifer I'd be happy to buy vavolines if that was easier. He said they didn't have my light bulb in stock. Jennifer and the Vavoline staff took out my high beam light. I could see Jennifer signaling ("hand cutting neck") the young man who was under my hood to "stop". Lied to my face saying the person who sold me the light gave me the incorrect one. I looked online to verify. Ask Jennifer which one they took out as autozone and Google says the one he told me I needed was for high beam (which still worked) . His response "all of us have fat hands and can't access the low beam. It's really far down there." I said so "I do have the correct bulb." He closed my hood and signaled me out of the bay. I'm disappointed, I drive out of my way to patronize this location because I've previously loved this LaGrange location. But this is the second time I've come to this location and not been able to receive seamless service. First time they drained my oil and didn't have any oil filters to fit my vehicle. I can without a doubt say I won't be back. If they couldn't change the light, fine. But why lie? They're dishonest. Sad to say, this location is going downhill.

It didn't take long to get them on the phone and agree on a fair price for the tow. And the driver? Arrived in 20 minutes. I don't think I've ever had a tow truck reach me so quickly. Plus, he was personable at a time when people usually aren't - just ask the clowns I called for help before I got their number. Needing a tow is right up there with a good root canal. But when you need a tow truck just north of Louisville, C&J's Towing is as good as they come.
